Recently purchased home. Needed a new thermostat installed and HVAC inspected and serviced. James River came out the same day and provided the service requested. Also have an estimate to replace hot water tank and furnace. Very happy with their service and will use in the future.

Caleb is very good— he has a good grasp of the technicals and can explain them. He is also focused on customer satisfaction and has a friendly personality.

James River has served us since we moved into this house in 2007. When our aging heat pump died (which we anticipated) they installed a replacement that has worked quite well during all four seasons. We have a maintenance contract, which we recommend. They keep the unit tuned and are very responsive when we've experienced a problem. They even installed a new thermostat when the old one began malfunctioning. No charge, which surprised us. Very professional and responsive.
