There is always room for improvement but the agent spent a fair amount of time doing general maintenance on the unit. He was pleasant and took the time to explain the features of the Nest thermostat which I really appreciated.

We needed a new A/C unit and received several quotes. We took advantage of the 30/30/30 promo James River was offering and our unit was installed within a week. Jason Marsh, the residential supervisor, explained everything that was involved and the installers were prompt, professional and kind. They gave our blind dog a pat on his head every time they passed him! I must admit that I was skeptical before I called for a quote because I thought a big corporate company would be impersonal. How very wrong I was! Thank you. I highly recommend James River.

James River installed 2 new heat pumps. My first interaction was with Vinny Rodina who inspected my old system. He got everything operating but there were some issues which would need additional repairs. As our system was almost 10 years old and having problems I decided to look into a new system upgrade. Linda Cox reviewed my options and provided a quote for a much more efficient system. I decided to go with the upgrade rather than put any additional money into repairing the old system. Chris and Jarod came early in the morning to install the system. I was informed, to my surprise, that they would be able to complete both systems in one day. Everything was completed, cleaned up and operational. I then had Karson Mott come to my home to check the system and further explain its operation. I was so impressed by each of these individuals - their professionalism, work ethic, and friendliness. Contacting the office to schedule appointments was easy. Vinny and Karson each came the day I called for service and they each called to let me know when they would arrive at my home. I can only say that in the short time I have dealt with James River I have been completely satisfied and would highly recommend them.

Our upstairs A/C went out and James River sent out SaQuan. He was super nice and kept me informed along the way what he was doing. Because we have a service agreement with James River, they went ahead and completed the full preventative maintenance of all units. Their HVAC techs have always been great.
