Recently got stationed in Norfolk and bought a house. Didn’t have any issues with my HVAC or AC etc but wanted to do a check up on the system. Alex was my tech and he was awesome. Being in the Navy I like to understand how stuff work and he explained everything to me. Luckily my system was taken care of, filters changed etc. It’s nice to have a company that is reliable and can give you peace of mind you won’t be left hot in the summer or cold in the winter. 100 percent recommend them. But morale of the story is clean your house, change your filters and you shouldn’t have an issue. :) hope everyone has a great weekend.

Damien did a thorough, detailed job on a “routine” check on our HVAC system that turned up a blocked drain pipe and a capacitor in need of replacement. His attention to detail was very much appreciated.

Rick came out, and he was so kind, professional and patient. Answering all my questions, taking the time to make sure I had an understanding of everything that was going on. He checked out the issue very thoroughly, leaving no stone unturned. He followed up and made sure no one had any more questions. I would most def have him come out to look at your vents/ducts, he knows his stuff!!

We returned from our winter holiday to find out that our heater was not functioning. My wife called Norfolk Air Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical. The same day a technician arrived and diagnosed the issue at hand, a faulty blower motor.

We were charged $175 for the visit. People have to make a fair living wage and I believe that the diagnosis and service fee was fair market value.

Shortly after, we were provided 3 price quotes. The lowest quote for the motor (no service plan, etc.) came out to $1,354.04++. With the gold package they wanted close to 2k!

This afternoon I went down to Cashwell's and purchased the same motor for $130 and installed it in less than a half hour.

That is a 941% mark up on parts alone 😳. Absolute highway robbery. We will never call this scam of a company again.

Take your money elsewhere!

Fantastic company. Tyler Gilbert is the true to word, definition, for professionalism. He is extremely knowledgeable, creditable and precise about getting whatever concerns or question you have, resolved. The team at Norfolk Air are all phenomenal experts at their craft as well as being outstandingly reliable. They get the job done right the first time and if there happens to be just the slightest issue, its corrected ASAP. Highly recommend Norfolk Air over any other HVAC, plumbing or electrical company out there.

I had an emergency situation with an old water heater that died and was leaking. I tired to drain it without success to minimize the water damage. Norfolk Air, Heating, Cooling was the only company that responded right away, listened to my story, and tried to help me as quickly as possible. Erin worked hard to answer my questions and coordinate the logistics of having my water heater I purchased at Home Depot picked up... She was great. Within a couple of hours, I had a technician arrive. Devin did a great job. He and there tech were polite, and they were professional. I was very satisfied with their service. They are a more expensive company to use, so I am glad their service matched.
