Team showed up exactly on time. Job was estimated to take 2 days for HVAC and mini split. Even with the extreme rain they pushed through it in a single day for both systems. Team was extremely knowledgeable and answered all questions.

I initially gave Norfolk Air five out of five stars. 90% of my dealing with them warrant this rating. However over the last year and a half I have learned that my initial rating was pre-mature.
I first started with them when looking to upgrade my HVAC system. They were one if a few companies I got quotes from and I liked their customer service.
I got a comparable quote on the system I wanted and was told the quote included everything that need to be done to get my HVAC operating at maximum efficiency. Financing was fast and easy. The tear-out and reinstall of the new system got bumped up sooner than expected. The installers were quick, clean and professional. - hence my initial five star rating.
NAH C&P also offers a nice semi-annual clean and inspect of your system. I opted to attain that to ensure my new system maintained optimal performance. This also cam with priority service and discounted service calls for any work they do. This came in very hand when I had an urgent plumbing matter.
Very knowledgeable, professional and friendly techs and customer service. Because I had question on possibly financing that repair, that they couldn't answer at the time of the repair, they had the tech do the work and gave me time to discuss a payment plan that worked best for me a few days later. - Fantastic service.
However, less than a year after having my new HVAC system installed, I was still having HVAC issues... because of the duct work that I was originally told was perfectly fine and did NOT need any work, or upgrading for optimal performance of my brand new heat pump and exchanger. After a SECOND look, less than 6 months after get a brand new HVAC, because of the 'poor condition' of my ductwork, they recommended replacing ALL the ductwork, because the repair would cost almost as much as all new ductwork.
Because I was lied to from the start by the estimator who told me my ducts were fine, and only sold me a new HVAC, I cannot stand by my initial five star rating. I certainly would have preferred to finance the entire project and had all the necessary work done at one time, rather than having to re-visit an issue I was assured was completely resolved with a beautiful new heat pump and heat exchanger.
My recommendation: inspect every aspect of what you expect and ask questions about EVERYTHING you're unsure of. Every GOOD technician, sales person or customer service rep WANTS to make sure you understand and are pleased with their company and service they are providing.
Good on all the techs that have been dispatched to my property. Wonderful customer service when I call for scheduling or any questions regarding service. - Greatly disappointed the sales rep didn't actually inspect the ductwork before telling me it was fine.

Jake did a great job of diagnosing my problem and fixing it quickly. Since he made the repair I have had no issues and everything is working perfectly.

Norfolk Air installed our new HVAC system. All the techs were polite, professional and tidy throughout. More importantly, when we had serious concerns about the noise from our new system they responded straight away, reached out to the manufacture and installed a fix that far exceeded our expectations. Thank you!

These folks are always great. Most recently we had some electrical work done, and Tony Maresca is a cut above. We’ll never use another electrician if we can help it.

Great experience. The technician was very thorough and explained everything so I understood. I've used this company for 6 years now and I'm never disappointed.

Requested they provide us a quote to install a shutoff valve and diagnose a leak. They wouldn't quote over the phone but said they will come to our house to provide a quote for $89.00. They quoted $750 for the valve, told us the leak came from HVAC and their HVAC team would have to show up to diagnose and quote repair. Required we pay them $300 for the diagnosis and service call. NOTHING WAS FIXED. When I contacted the company, they said the $89 fee is just to show up, diagnoses and quote is extra. I will not be using this company as I consider this an egregious business practice.
So I go under crawl space. See water seeping through bricks. See two plastic tubes going from crawl to HVAC unit. Go to HVAC unit. No leaks. Ground is wet around unit. I brush debris aside to find the two pipes. They must be condensation drains and they are draining right to the ground outside house and seeping back in. For $300, the technician couldn't figure this out? Shame on me for not taking 5 minutes to do on my own. Expensive lesson learned. I can only imagine the diagnoses and repair cost for that fix!

Tony from Norfolk Air Heating and Plumbing installed my Nest Smart Doorbell today. I tried using the company that Nest recommended for the installation. After two failed appointments, I cancelled the service and called Norfolk Air Heating and Plumbing. Tony called and said he would arrive early. He quickly installed the device and helped me program it. He was a pleasure to work with.

They replaced a wax seal on the first floor toilet a couple of months ago. It never made a proper seal and was leaking under the toilet. The toilet was also not fully secured again and wobbled.
I bought shims and another wax ring thinking my floor wasn’t right. Turns out they just didn’t install it correctly. Put a new wax ring on and secured the toilet myself and now it’s fine, no wobble or leak.
The picture is of the wax ring they had installed, you can see it never made contact with the base of the toilet.
Very simple repair we made the mistake of paying for. they were here for other work as well so just let them include it in the bill, now I’m worried about the rest of the work as well.
Do not recommend this company at all.
They also do not deduct the price of the estimate from the bill like other places do.
