The technician arrived promptly, resolved the issue quickly, wad professional and pleasant. This is our 2nd experience with McDaniel, they are now our go to plumbers!!

Saved me so much money on my sewer. Only plumbing company that's ever talked me out of unnecessary services (pointed out that the city was actually responsible for my sewer line problem based on the age of my house; other 2 companies quoted me $25k). The work they did end up doing was half as much as I expected to pay. Highly recommend.

I had a service tech appointment on 16 April and the tech did not determine what was wrong with my HVAC system, he re-directed the duct dampeners and inspected the unit and suggested a cleaning; I was billed $79.00 for a dispatch charge. A second tech visited on 4 May as the unit was still not cooling the house, he also re-directed the duct dampeners, changed the air filter and inspected the unit and suggested a cleaning and a refrigerant recharge. I noticed the unit shutting off not long after the A/C was powered on before reaching the set cooling temperature. The 'handy-man' working on our front door framing offered to look at the A/C unit as well; he determined the thermostat was faulty. We replaced the thermostat ourselves and the A/C is now working properly and cooling the house. I must say, I am disappointed with McDaniel's services.

Fantastic. Although originally they were going to have a crew of 3 for five days, they ended up sending a crew of six and getting the work done in half the time. Bruce, Will, Bryce, Connor and the rest of the team were INCREDIBLY hard working, efficient, friendly and kept me informed every step of the way. They turned what could have been a fairly horrible holiday experience into barely a speed bump in my life. In addition, every person I've talked to at McDaniel, from June and Alex on the phone, to the entire crew at my house - they've been nothing but supportive and helpful. I could not be more impressed. And the rates are reasonable!

The McDaniel Service out of Lorton is a ripoff. I used them to make repairs from the results of a Home inspection to sell my house. They were responsible for HVAC and plumbing repairs for my house that was on the market. They were supposed to replace a bathtub drain and two sink stoppers and check the AC. The day of closing during the walk-through my Realtor notified me that McDaniel had not completed the work and the AC was not blowing cool air. McDaniel's knew they had my back up against the wall due to the fact that we were closing that day. They ended up charging me $500.00 just for bathtub drain. The max that I should have been charged was $325.00. They first stated $2,500 for a freon leak that I believe never existed, but could not challenge because I was 600 miles away. The charge for the freon came to $900.00. They also charged me $250.00 the first time they came out for the AC and stated it was fine. Two weeks later it had a leak in it and nobody was living there and the AC was off. Do not use this company.

Arrived on time. Explained the job. Did nice work. Discussed ways to avert on future. Very professional.
