Good customer service in the heating and cooling industry is hard to find. Nathan just serviced all three of my units before summer. He was professional, polite and was a great communicator. Super impressed with this company.

My AC went out during 100 degree weather. I called three other places and they couldn’t come out for a week. I called Next Gen and they said they’d send someone the next day. The tech that they sent out was named Justin. He worked for three long hours in the heat and still smiled. He said he would have to order a part. I was devastated. I can’t handle the heat and can’t afford a hotel room. He drove back to his office an hour away and got me a portable air conditioner. He said I could keep it until he got it fixed. He came back with the part two days later and had it fixed in no time. He was so upbeat and professional. I could tell he really cared. I want him to know how much I appreciate a young man with such empathy who takes such pride in his work in this day and age.
I had a Issue with a previous AC company that came to troubleshoot an issue we were having with cooling in the house. Chris was the technician that came out for the second opinion. he was very professional and gave me his thoughts on the system issues and let me know the new laws that are coming regarding R22 systems. after some discussion and talking with the sales lady and Chris, I decided to upgrade the system to R410a. The process was quick and easy and had approval within just a few mins. Lynn and his crew came for the install they did a fantastic job on the install and were very professional and clean. We had a couple small hurdles after the install nothing big but the people at Next Gen were right on top of it and handled everything. I cannot not express enough how satisfied I am with Chris, Lynn. and the entire staff at Next Gen. 10 out of 10 would recommend this company for service, professionalism and knowledge. A great company that stands behind there work!
I don't recommend any of their services. I had their AC tech, Cody Boyd come to my house to troubleshoot my unit. He wasn't here for an hour before he said I needed 18lbs of refrigerant or freon at $50 a pound and that my evaporator coil needed replacement. So I call somebody else to get a second opinion because that seemed completely absurd. Turns out my coils are in tip top condition, they were just dirty and my freon was full.
Cody tried to scam me for a new evaporator coil and $900 worth of r410a which on average is $3-$7 a pound. What makes it even more disgusting is he did this while he knew full well my children and new born baby had no AC in the Texas summer. Also turns out Cody Boyd is unlicensed or working on an expired license.
I called and filed a complaint and sent them evidence of his wrong doings and they said they'd deal with it accordingly. With that being said there's absolutely nothing this company can do to make right what Cody Boyd has tried to do to my family and in particular my children. I'm only writing this review so you can be an informed consumer when it comes to essential services like your AC and HVAC system.
I absolutely would not recommend this shady company and their unlicensed techs.

The a/c service call and repair by Next Gen Air was excellent! Quick, efficient, thorough and professionally friendly. Not only was I informed of exactly what was wrong, but also how it was fixed, all in simple language I could understand. And also about the upcoming freon changes. The technician, Hunter Benson, was very knowledgeable, polite and most competent in getting the job done right! I highly recommend Next Gen.
I really can't even put into words how Chris beyond exceeded my expectations today. I learned the hard way that my central heating went out, in the old house I just bought. I had a pretty pessimistic outlook on what to expect from the appointment. And was already trying to figure out how I was ever going to afford a new unit. Then Chris arrived early, and was met with my ancient heater and all the problems it entailed. After seeing I had small children in the home. Chris was genuinely concerned, asked how we were staying warm.. And, was absolutely determined to get it working. And didn't stop until he knew my babies could sleep warm tonight. After hours of his determination, my house is nice and warm.
I can not thank him enough for being such a caring, professional, and kind guy. I 100% will be recommending this company and will be using them when the time comes to replace my system.
I'm pretty hard to impress. But, I was definitely impressed today with NextGen.
Justin was my technician today on a call for seasonal heating inspection and maintenance. He is a personable, professional, and knowledgeable young man who definitely knows his way around HVAC systems. He was gracious in answering all my questions and explaining everything he was doing. I would definitely use/recommend Next Gen Air and Justin!!
