Jose and his team are wonderful and very knowledgeable! Our AC had burnt out due to a lightning storm power outage. This happened on a Friday and Jose made sure that we had portable cool air units for the days ahead while we filed an insurance claim and had an adjuster come out. He installed a new unit quickly and provided the best Estimate compared to a few other companies. We are very happy with our new equipment. We Will definitely continue to recommend PepCal. Jose Calderon and his team came out on top of 4 other HVAC businesses I met with. The PepCal team has a great reputation online and has been in business over 10 years. Jose’s initial consultation, communication and professionalism was on point. He was on time for the appointment, carefully reviewed my existing system and answered all of my questions. He was also the only one that was able to modify a Trane system and make an XR16 SEER to qualify as 17 SEER with larger coil (certified). He informed me about the CPS rebate program for early replacement and even helped fill out the application. I was very specific about not to rush the job and to protect my wooden floors, new carpet, furniture, and walls in my home, which was respected. Jose was present during the install and his team was in sync with all of my asks and all went as expected. They installed a Trane 2x 3Ton 17 SEER variable speed systems. A day after, I noticed that one of the systems was making a slight rumbling noise. Jose was very responsive and professional and came back the next day to diagnose the issue. Ultimately, he replaced the motor and blower. Jose offered multiple payment options with a cash incentive discount and was willing to adjust his price to deliver a competitive offer. He also offered a 10 year parts & labor warranty. I was happy with their willingness to listen to the customer, attention to detail, honesty, punctuality, flexibility and professionalism. They had to rewire the entire A/C system due to faulty ( improperly installed & over 10 years old) wiring. They sent recommendations to our property manager noting that, our A/C breaker in the attic has caught fire twice and our units entire electrical system needs to be inspected/replaced as it poses a serious risk of property damage, potential loss of life due to fire hazard.

I have used Jose since he was one truck and it's so great to see the success pepcal has had. The reasons they have such great reviews are they do great work and they're honest to a fault. I know that when I have an A/C issue all i have to do is text or call and i have a tech to my house. We recently had to have an entire system replaced and they did a magnificent job and did it quickly. I cannot recommend Pepcal enough. I will only use Jose and his crew as long they're around.
