Mitch, the salesperson with Climate Control, did a great job explaining all the options available, spent the time measuring the house to determine the correct size unit for space. Explained in detail the process involved. Great job!
The installation team had a difficult job of installing the unit in a tight space but did a good job with that. Unfortunately, they left part of the old air handler duct work up in the attic and did not remove. When they tested the system, the tested the A/C only and didn't test the heat. I found out a day later that the heat was not functioning and had to call them back in.
Joe, the technician, came out two days later and spent time testing the wiring and did a great job looking at every part of the indoor and outdoor unit. The problem was my thermostat, a Nest, had a short in the wiring and needed replacement. This would have been discovered if they had tested the system when installed. Joe installed a replacement , universal thermostat that can be purchased for $70 but the company charged me $289 for this thermostat and said they would "waive" the service fee to fix the issue with the thermostat. In essence, I actually did pay a service fee and then some. Had I known it was my faulty thermostat upon installation, I would have gone out and purchased a new one and had them install the new thermostat understanding I would have to pay a service charge .
I am not sure if the paperwork was filed for my PEC rebate I get but will follow up with that.
An average experience overall. Not sure I would use them for a new house I am building in a couple of years.

John Richmond is quite professional.. He LISTENS before speaking. He's extremely patient and thorough when going over details about the system. He registered my system on line for me. This enables me to operate the thermostat away from home. He follows up and invites questions. He's also quite personable. I highly recommend seeking him out should you wish to have an AC unit installed. Again; His professionalism is beyond reproach!!

Based on the recommendation of our neighbor, we called Climate Control on August 13th, 2020 when our air conditioning system began blowing warm air. One of their technicians came out that afternoon, and quickly diagnosed the problem. We were presented with the options of repairing or replacing the AC system. Since the system was 14 years old, we decided to replace it. Knowing that it was going to be over 100 degrees each of the next several days and we had no other cooling available, Climate Control worked us into their schedule for the next day, Friday, August 14th. Due to their first job of the day taking longer than expected, the installers didn’t get started on our installation until 7:30 PM. They completed the job by 1:00 AM Saturday morning. They didn’t have the wi-fi thermostat we had purchased on-hand, so they installed another one temporarily so we could have AC over the weekend. They then returned Monday, August 17, and quickly installed the wi-fi thermostat. Their workmanship was outstanding, and the quality of the installation is excellent. They even took care of the paperwork for a rebate from our electric company. The office staff and technicians we interacted with were all very professional, very knowledgeable, and a delight to work with.

Carlos is Amazing & a Lifesaver. We had a company that came in to review our AC Monday and didn't fix our AC only a temporary fix. They never followed up but we contacted Climate Control they came next day and immediately took care of the problem. They charge fair and truly have customers best interest. Thank you so much for putting your customers first and taking care of their AC needs.

I received a call from their office the technician was on his way and within 30 minutes Jose arrived. He was very courteous and completed his tasks to my satisfaction.

In my line of work, I have dealt with several different HVAC contractors and Climate Control is one of the best. Scott is constantly working at making sure they can give the best service to their customers and deliver a quality project. This is why I went to them when I needed work done in my personal house. They are knowledgeable and more important, have integrity so you know that what they recommend is what is best for the situation. I have recommended them to people in the past and I will continue to in the future.

Climate Control San Antonio was highly recommended by the retired heating and air technician that I had used for over 15 years. Today, Joe Castillo from Climate Control called and arrived at the scheduled time. He was very professional and thorough in performing the heating check. I also greatly appreciated him taking the time and explaining step-by-step what he was doing. He was definitely knowledgeable about the annual Service Contract, explaining the entire contract in detail and answering questions that I had. Without hesitation, I recommend Climate Control. Joe certainly is a valuable asset!

The work they do is alway excellent

From start to end Mr. Bobby Jones(salesman) in our initial visit was very professional and knowledgeable with the HVAC products and features. He was very patient and kind while addressing all of my concerns. This company was able to get my new HVAC installed the next day and it was up and running within hours. The crew was very professional and considerate. They protected my floors and walls and cleaned up after the job was completed as well as instructed us how to use the new thermostat. Ms. Brandy back at the office was also very helpful and professional. She submitted my registration for the manufacturer warranty and also the forms directly to CPS for my rebate. I am very pleased with this company and will recommend to my friends and family!

It’s better but still the loudest AC I have ever heard. We have 2 large identical units. One is like a library silent, the other is jazz concert loud. It was Rock Concert loud so I guess that’s what we will have but it’s hard to understand why 2 exact systems, and pricy units as well are so different
