I called 5 Star and left a voicemail. They returned my call within 5 minutes and had someone at my house by noon. It would have been sooner but I had an appointment.

Troy reviewed my system and confirmed the issue. He offered to try and fix just the problem and explained simply the pros and cons. My system was so old that a fix to the problem would only prolong the death of the entire system, and not by much. He then offered and explained what replacing just the handling unit would cost and what an entire new system would cost.

His patient and simple explanations helped me make a confident decision and they were out the next morning to install the new components. I would recommend 5 Star any day.

The technician was not willing to work at all.He told that he couldn't find the freon and they sell freon for my unit any more which was not true.Another technician came and added freon to my unit.

My unit is a new technology and overly complicated and was too advanced for technician. The technician checked out as much as he could and I appreciated his being honest about not being familiar with the unit. I would recommend them and hopefully he will get trained soon on these high tech units
