5 Star HVAC Contractors

I signed up for their maintenance plan and so far am impressed with their courtesy, professionalism and punctuality. They seem to care about their customers! I have not had any work done yet so I will update review after we have a work order! Thanks so much for caring about our home and hvac system!!!

5 Star came through for us in our time of need. They came out on an emergency visit at night because our downstairs unit had stopped blowing cold air. They texted us updates on the repairman's ETA. Chip came to the rescue. He was quick, knowledgeable, and professional. He even informed us of some preventive tips so that we stay cool in this blistering heat. They will always be our go-to for our HVAC needs.

I don’t recommend companies unless they are outstanding and I can highly recommend 5 Star HVAC contractors.
Our air was going out periodically and with the hot weather predicted I wanted to get it taken care of.
I called a company who promptly came out and said we had no Freon and adding Freon wouldn’t last long and quoted me $12,000 to replace the unit.
I called another company for a 2nd opinion and they said they could come out next Tuesday. This was Wednesday.
I called 5 Star and they had someone out that day.The technician, Chip, who was great, and showed up earlier than expected said that we were low on Freon and gave us a couple of options and said he’d get us an estimate which we got the same evening.
Long story short we had the unit installed on Friday and the installers were just courteous as everyone we dealt with from Five Star. They were in and out in less than 2 hours and other than the cool air you wouldn’t know any work had been done.

5 Star HVAC Contractors are amazing! My parents air conditioner went out while my dad was in the hospital and my mom was home alone and had no idea what to do. We spoke to Jose who got someone out to my parents house within hours. Rickey was the tech that fixed the AC unit. My mom said he was so kind and spent a lot of time explaining to her what happened and what he did. I am so thankful for this company being able to help my family when we really needed it. I 100000% recommend them.

Woke up this morning to discover our a/c was not working. I called 5 Star at 9:00. Chip was here around 11:00. He was gone by 11:30. We are cool again! And it's Saturday of a holiday weekend! We will never call anyone else but 5 Star. Very happy!

Chip was very friendly and professional. I called 5star out to diagnose any problem with my A/C and to provide possible solutions. Chip was very thorough and was able to diagnose the problem quickly. He went so far as to give tips and tricks beyond what was asked that will save us money down the road. In the end I was provided with a no pressure estimate for the work that should be done. I will be using 5star for the repair work as well.

We have been 5 Star customers since 2012. I have never dealt with a more fair and honest contractor in my life. Jose is the man! I can always count on these guys to be there when they say they will. I have had 4 different units serviced at 4 different houses all across north Texas and 1 unit installed. These guys are the best!

My condenser was falling over onto my house. 5 Star responded quickly, and were able to come out and level it, also replaced the weather-beaten pipe coverings. The tech was very fast and professional, and did a great job. They tested the components, and made sure everything was working properly. Also, their price was far better (thousands!) than a competitor’s quote.

I want to make a shoutout for excellent response and service with 5 Star HVAC. Came in on time as scheduled on a Saturday morning to check my thermostat and AC for not working for 2 days.. The technicians were able to resolve the issue immediately. They were both pleasant and respectful. I actually have a family plan with another company in Rockwall - so I called them first about my issue but was given lies and excuses for not showing up as scheduled. From this experience, I cancelled immediately my family plan with this company in Rockwall. A lesson to cut business with this company.

My A/C unit was blowing cool air not cold. Called 5 Star on Memorial Day and set up appointment for Tuesday in the morning. Troy arrived on time and diagnosed the problem quickly. Replaced the capacitor and was blowing cold air. He also checked the unit to assure it was operating correctly.
