Comfort Squad Heating and Cooling

To say their service is non-responsive would be an understatement. They showed up at my rental unit and did an inspection, provided a quote for warranty repairs since the warranty only covered parts. I told them I would call the guy right back. Called the Trane dealer rep and he confirmed that was correct and they could charge it and then come back next week to perform the repairs. I told him to go ahead within 5 minutes of talking to the technician. 2 hours later my tenant called and asked if they were coming back to fix it. Apparently they left. Called my Trane contact and he said they would be back later that night... Again no-show. Called the next day and he said they would come by. He called the owner and was informed they would be there... I called, and there was no answer, left a message, no return call. After 2 days, still no repair. Finally this morning I called again and they said I was on the list to go by and service the AC. Not sure if they have limited staff or the fact it was the first really hot week, but if you cannot make it, then do not give a time saying you will. I will never use their service again. Called a local Katy AC Trane (Ideal Air) service at 8 am, they answered the phone, was courteous, and provided me with a 9-11 appoint this morning.

I have been in the market for a new AC unit for a few months, received several estimates but chose to go with Comfort Squad per the recommendation of my husbands friend. I found it odd that they have 5 star ratings not only on Facebook but online as well. When I received the estimate the gentleman was very knowledgeable and polite. 5 stars there. We decided to move forward with the work. I received a reminder text the day before installation and one the day of with a picture of my technician (I was also able to track him arriving). Now while I was not searching for these amenities in a company I can tell you that I absolutely appreciated it. The two men that arrived to install my new unit first explained what they would be doing, installed the unit and explained again what had been done after installation was complete. He showed me how to use the system, and informed me that they would be registering my unit with the manufacture and not to worry about that. This was the best money I have spent on our home and I can’t rave enough about their service, communication, rates and professionalism. I am now a believer of why they have a 5 star rating. 9/16/2019 Comfort Squad installed 2 new units at my house. Can’t say enough about the guys. Showed up on time, went over the entire process from making sure I understand the complete install from all equipment I was promised down to the clean up process. Erik and his team was professional from start to finish. They completely redesigned my attic. It has space to move around now. I highly recommend this company from the initial consultation to the install. They send text messages to inform you your technician is on the way with their picture attached. Awesome job, you can trust this company. After they finished they explained and showed me Wife and I the entire install from top to bottom. Give these guys your business they operate in excellence.

From the beginning the sales person was prompt and professional. The prices were not the most expensive nor the least but the quality was excellent. The company was very quick and patient to answer my question, I usually have a lot. The financing was very agreeable for my budget. The day of the appointment I received updates as to when they would arrive. They were very good at controlling the dust and dirt as I had a complete replacement of my system, ducts and all. They were there till almost 9pm and I never got the sense that they were in a hurry to leave. The technician showed me all the components and again was very professional. Overall I am very impressed with the quality and service. I would recommend them for anyone needed AC work.

These guys know their stuff! We had them renovate our attic two weeks ago. We’ve always had issues with the entire second floor not cooling. We upgraded windows and added insulation on top of what was already in the attic in hopes of making the upper floor comfortable. It helped but it was still 5-7 degrees warmer upstairs. So we started getting quotes on the ac system. We gathered 8 estimates. Comfort Squad performed some tests and recommended renovating the attic and replacing ductwork. It’s been over two weeks now and our home has never felt this comfortable since we’ve lived here (12 years!). Their bid was higher but we chose them because we didn’t want to keep “fixing” things like we’ve done in the past without results. Edgar and Francisco were great to work with. They were polite even at 10pm when they finished. Great job 👍

I am so happy I bought my new unit from Comfort Squad. They fixed my issue and it was covered under warranty. I appreciate the prompt service and the knowledgeable service techs. I would give them a 5 star rating and recommend them to friends and family.

I rarely rate any businesses on social media, but I have to praise Comfort Squad for their excellent services. We had several contractors in the past who gave their run around, but Comfort Squad was honest in their assessment, offered competitive quote without hidden cost, and went beyond their service to assure all our concerns were addressed. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a company they can trust. A+

We just used Comfort Squad to replace 2 HVAC systems in our home about 3 months ago as our units were 18 yrs old - one not working. The guy who came to visit with us about what we needed was very thorough and made sure ALL my questions were answered - about what was included and their install process. Their pricing was the best of 5 estimates I received from other companies. I found their communication process to be top notch, scheduling was quick and Danielle was always prompt about answering my calls. If she was busy then it was a short wait to hear back from her. This company has systems in place for their team members and makes the process an easy one for the homeowner. The guys still had some additional work to complete though it was starting to get a bit late which did not matter as additional team members showed up to help them finish the job - they really helped each other - such a rarity these days. They cleaned up and made sure we were happy with their completed work. The guys helped each other load up so they could all get home - it was a long day! Each member who was at my home that day was very nice, polite, respectful and courteous of our home! We are thrilled with the outstanding job you did for us Comfort Squad! Thank you!!!! Best ever from first phone call to install to customer service to response time. Affordable, honest, AMAZING communication from all departments, prompt and on time, very respectful and courteous staff. Answered all questions and never falsified issues that didn’t exist and I was not pressured with a fake sales pitch. The response to my very first phone call is what sold me. Their after hour service actually answers with a live person!!! Second they offered to bring me portable AC units until our scheduled appointment and this was even before a committed install. And they kept their appointment as scheduled. Wonderful experience and recommend to all. So so happy and I know what a nasty, lying, con artists AC company is with my nightmare from way below hell with Royal AC. Royal AC will royally screw you but Comfort Squad brought immediate comfort. Thank you from our family for giving back my trust in an honest company as yours!!
