My AC stopped working and a friend of mine, who owns an AC repair business AND has worked on my AC for the past 5+ years attempted to repair it without success. He explained that a new heat pump unit would cost a little over 11,000 to replace; which includes the attic unit as well because, "Your energy bill will be outrageous if you don't replace them both".
On a whim, I contacted Reliant Air b/c I have only heard wonderful reviews and wanted a second opinion.
They sent a specialist, Chrissy Wasson, very quickly to evaluate the unit. Chrissy contacted me and explained that she felt like she should have a repairman evaluate the unit as it was not very old and that SHOULD he not be able to repair the unit, only the outdoor unit would need to be replaced because the attic unit was not outdated and they still manufactured that particular unit. This would save me a significant amount of money.
The very professional repairman arrived rather quickly and was able to easily repair the unit for less than $300.00. Compare that to >$11,000!
Reliant Air will now always be my go to and I really appreciate how expeditious and professional the team I encountered was for me!
I started using Reliant 20 years ago at my home in Wylie. I still use them at my new home in Dallas. Their PM program is very helpful to avoid problems. They are good about letting you know when they are coming. They hit their service time windows. Technicians are knowledgeable and professional.
Had an old HVAC System in a house we recently purchased. Met with Reliant on multiple occasions. They were always responsive, honest and on time. Toby and team was amazing to work with. Most of all they were honest and helpful. Eventually decided to purchase new system. Fair Price for new system and crew that installed was on time, quick, polite and cleaned up after themselves. We did have the compressor fail after 1 week but Reliant sent tech to get it running while they secured a replacement. Replaced the unit in less than 48 hours. Couldn't be happier with our choice in a HVAC company!
He was very thorough and able to diagnose the problem in a very timely manner. Jovial and easy to talk to. He made everything very clear and easy to digest when fixing the ac. Recommend Reliant and Yorman and the lady who scheduled my appointment. All were very professional.
Called Reliant Air for a free 2nd opinion. They came out same day and confirmed that my 20 year old air conditioner was shot. Francisco is a top notch technician and knows his business. He found additional problems the other company missed. Two days later, I had a brand new system, installed in about 4 hours and works great. The cleaned up, hauled off the old unit and I could not be happier. Highly recommend.
I haven't hired them yet, but based on the customer service they're great. I was able to speak to a live person to set my appointment. I was also impressed by the text I received with the technician picture and contact information. Cameron was very thorough and helpful when I had questions.
Shawn with Reliant Air was great. He was very clear and concise about what the problem was and the costs in fixing it. Fortunately it was a very simple fix and the cost was minimal.
Been listening to WBAP 820AM for years and years. Always heard their ads on their air, I took a chance on them and was not disappointed. Thank you.
My technician was Dan Thomas, and he did a fabulous job remedying my air conditioner. He was quick to analyze the issue to be a bad capacitor, replace it and he was on his way. Highly recommended.
Oscar was so professional and very knowledgeable of my old air conditioning unit.He explained things in great detailed and helped me understand what was going on. I would highly recommend him.
I had a new AC unit installed 2 weeks ago on June 13, 2023 and had issues with the unit not cooling within the first week. A technician came out and said I was 4 pounds low on refrigerant. He fixed a small leak on the outside unit. Another week goes by and it's not cooling again. I am very disappointed in these issues for having to pay $8,000 for a new A/C unit. I don't feel these technicians know what they are doing.
