Military Air AC and Heating

I usually don't write reviews but when a company is honest and cares about their customers like Military Air then they deserve it. Scott knows his stuff and gives you his honest opinion with a very fair price. I shopped around quite a bit and they are more than fair. He worked around my schedule since I'm pretty busy and came after hours to make it work. Also, they always wear shoe covers (without being asked to) everytime they set foot in the house which is much appreciated. I recommend Scott without reservation.

I have had to deal with them twice now through home warranty insurance and nothing but headache, long repair wait times and terrible customer service, for several reasons:
1) they came and checked out the AC unit and went straight to the problem being the compressor - one of the most expensive things to replace. I didn't know any better so went with it - of course HW didn't pay for the replacement of the refrigerant. a week later similar symptoms, blower is running but only hot air coming out. After I doing some digging around it turned out that the safety switch was preventing the ac compressor to start running because of the condensate line getting plugged. They don't do proper trouble shooting and went with the wrong diagnosis to get more money from the home warranty insurance. Oh, also - the whole repair took more than a week due to many of their excuses. Best part - this was in the middle of a heat wave in the summer.

2) they were assigned again for another house that I am renting out - similar wait times with the tenants threatening to sue or for compensation because it took them more than a week to replace the condenser fan.

3) both instances, the technician was nice and responsive. But the person on the phone was not helpful and rude and took every question i had around timing to be offensive.

My advice - avoid them at all cost. I have already blacklisted them from being used from my home warranty insurance company. I will not use them any more.

Military air personifies exemplary service and quality customer service. Cody and Chris especially were very knowledgeable in walking me through the whole process of replacing my evaporator coil. These guys are awesome would most definitely recommend.

Military Air AC and Heating (Jacob) came out Saturday morning (10/2) to inspect & test my mini split system installed in my garage. Jacob was very thorough and ensured the system was working properly prior to leaving. Also, he walked me through what he was doing (because I was asking questions). Very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely recommend to use them! Easy to set up an appointment and they even call about 20min prior to showing up.

I needed my Hvac system fixed called a company prior to this one and they told me I had to replace the whole outside unit. Happy I called this company for a second opinion. Turned out I didn’t need a new unit my current one wasn’t even leaking. Trust this company they won’t replace something unless it needs to be.

Ed worked so hard to make the repairs on our Air Conditioning system. His professionalism, demeanor and attention to detail were second to none. Not only would I recommend Military Air, I would advise that you ask for Ed by name. It is rare that I post a review but Ed, Loretta and the entire Military Air team have our gratitude and thanks. I know I have forgotten a few names but we owe them ALL a big thank you

Finally! A HVAC company with extraordinary customer care, professionalism, and technical depth.

Military Air A/C & Heating replaced my fan & motor without trying to direct me to the condenser. Two other companies were out and quoted me over a thousand dollars to replace the condenser.

Scott, with Military Air, not only showed me why it couldn't be the condenser, he also spoke to the connections to each device. Scott walked me through the digital meter results and correlated with what each component should be reading.

Greg, one of the technicians came out to our house a few weeks ago after our a/c drip pan overflowed leaking through the ceiling. He was very attentive to our questions and concerns. Greg was very thorough in explaining what the issue was, and how he repaired it. We are so grateful for Military for saving us from this Houston heat! Thank you. We are customers for life!

When my air conditioner broke I was really worried about what contractor the warranty company would send, my past experiences were not so great. When I first met Gerald from Military Air on day one, I was pleasantly surprised. I want to thank Military Air and especially Gerald for the first rate service they provided, from the very beginning to the very end it was top notch. As a retired veteran and Marine, Gerald immediately recognized my military award display case. He told me his brother was a Marine, and that their company really appreciated veterans for their service. If you are a military veteran, YOU MUST HIRE Military Air! Military Air was very knowledgeable and took time to explain every step to me, they were very professional and courteous. The first company that came to my house told me I need a whole new system and they would put it in the next day for $10k. That's a lot of money so I decided to get a second opinion. I called Military Air mainly because of the name, I thought to myself if you can't trust the military who can you trust. Wow I'm glad I followed my gut because they fixed the problem for $248 Great people, great service, great offices personnel, great prices, and they don't try to cheat you out of money they just fix the problem...
