Tech tried to push sales for repairs not needed and did not address what was wrong with the unit. Left without doing anything after I refused to pay for what he said needed fixed that didn’t.
I used them to replace an outdated system. And have been using them for quarterly inspections and maintenance since. They are always professional and friendly. I have called about questions with my system and instead of pushing it off until the next day, they had somebody come out that same day to verify system operation. I will continue to use them and recommend them as well for any HVAC needs.
We had them come run air vents in our art gallery which we have just invested almost 200k remodeling. They cut the wrong location for the vent and left it wide open without trying to fix it. I had called the company, emailed, and even messaged the sales rep on facebook for WEEKS letting him know we had a grand opening. I never heard back from them and then got a call from a contractor they hired who was suppose to come the morning before the event. I showed up to have the place open and no one showed up and then a lady calls at 2:50 pm after we had to PAY someone to come fix it saying I was not getting back to someone. We do business with so many companies and never write complaints but this is ridiculous.
AirMax installed my HVAC system so I've used them now for several years and they continue to do an excellent job. Their scheduling is convenient, they arrive as promised keeping me informed of the arrival status of the technician. The Technician keeps me apprised of what's going on with the repair or the maintenance. Matthew did a great job today. AirMax has kept my system maintained so I haven't had many problems since it was installed. I've never been disappointed in their work.
We used Airmax for initial diagnosis through American Home Shield. Communication soon broke down between Airmax and us when we took steps to verify with Carrier Inc. that our manufacturer warranty would not be voided by the "alternative" repair we had scheduled Airmax to do. Carrier said it would void our warranty. The alternative repair was recommended by Airmax because they did not know when the back-ordered part we needed would arrive. We decided it was worth the loss of the $75 service fee we paid AHS to go with another company who was able to get the part. We reported the issue we were having with Airmax to AHS. Within a couple of days, we received a voice message from Airmax that the part we needed, "mistakenly arrived". Hmmm...Airmax was not the right fit for us.
