Service Wizard Heating & Air Conditioning

Service Wizard used to be a great company and the business I work for has used them for years. I was very hesitant to write this review because I was really hoping they would make the situation right but was disappointed. I called Service wizard because one of our ac units was not working, they said we needed our coils cleaned and that they found a rip in our ductwork. We paid them to make the repairs and thought that would be the end of it. Far from it! The unit continued to preform exactly the same as before we called them. Ultimately they ended up coming back 7 times, 5 of those times charging us even more money. Around the 5th time I asked to speak to the owner when I called. I spoke with Charles and was shocked at his attitude towards me. He was audibly sighing at me and acted as if I was inconveniencing him. In addition to Charles and his terrible attitude each time techs were sent out they left things out of place and didn't communicate with us when they were done working. one of the service appointments they didn't bother to show up at all. We even went as far as closing our business for several hours to give them space to work, only for them to be there for 30 minutes and have the unit STILL not working. By this point I felt it was best if we were just issued a refund and moved on. I called and spoke with the other owner John who was much more polite than Charles. When I spoke with him he was apologetic and seemed interested in finding a solution. He even admitted that they never should have taken the job as they have moved away from commercial work. He claimed they were trying to keep working with us because we were long time customers.Based on the way we were treated it definitely didn't seem like we were valued customers. It really seemed more like a money grab because they charged us over $4,000 and had to be confronted before admitting they were unable to fix our problem. It took several phone conversations with John before we were able to reach a "solution". He never returned my calls and I had to call them multiple times a day to try to remedy this situation. In the end he dug his heels in and refused to refund us the money we had spent. He claimed they did the work they charged us for. He offered me $300 "good faith money" as he called it. Frankly it was insulting, good faith was us trusting them 7 times to fix something they should've been able to fix the first time. We have now hired a new commercial HVAC company, the first thing they noticed is that we needed our coils cleaned. We were surprised because this is something we paid Service Wizard to do only about a month prior. Since John assured me they did everything they charged us for we sent him the picture and inquired about why we were having this issue again so soon. Not surprisingly we never heard anything back. I know this has been a very long review but I felt it was important that other potential customers know all the facts. We will never recommend or use this company again. We feel taken advantage of, lied to and completely unimportant to them as customers. Ive included a photo of our “clean” coils below.

Emilio did a great job! He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and arrived on time. He explained exactly what the service I booked entailed, and was in and out within an hour. I will absolutely call Service Wizard again for any maintenance or repair!

David arrived soon after I called for service and quickly found the problem with the AC unit. He explained the problem to me and provided what it would cost to repair. He had the needed part with him and after my approval he quickly repaired the unit. He was courteous and professional. I received excellent service at a fair price.

What can I say? I got 4 bids to replace the HVAC at my rental property and SW was the best deal. They were super responsive, scheduled me in within a few days, were on time and got the job finished with zero hassle from my end. And everyone was super nice to work with. Thanks Service Wizard Team !

Emilio was able to come out on a Saturday. He helped restore the ac unit, he was honest, and didn’t try to sell me a brand new unit. Second time using their service and it’s always been able to resolve my issues.

Service Wizards is my go to AC maintenance company. They recently did a great job replacing my AC system and at a very competitive price. Their staff is also knowledgeable and super friendly!

Technician was on time, in fact I received a phone call & text message with photo and information on the technician. He was professional, he respected my home and shared information as needed. My husband and I were very pleased with the work that was done. We intend on using the company and service technician in the future.

I signed up for the tune up that was being offered via mail. The technician knew what he was doing was explaining to me about the data he collecting. He was very courteous as he went through all the steps of the tune up. I feel confident my unit should running very well, I plan on calling them next year for the yearly checkup.

The installer arrived on time and immediately went to work removing my old unit and installing the new system. He was very patient with me and kept me informed as to the progress. He worked non-stop, cleaning as he went until he had the new unit functioning perfectly. He loaded all of the old unit in his truck and cleaned up outside. I was very impressed with his professionalism and a job well done. I would recommend Service Wizard to anyone needing a new unit or repair to their existing system.
