Terrible for HVAC service. Do not use. Wasted my time and money by no-showing on multiple occasions with no apologies. I am avoiding them and Precision (same company) going forward.

I could not have asked for a better technician than Ismael. He was kind, professional, and has the customer’s best interest at heart.

Richard did an excellent job diagnosing my furnace. He caught something that the last technician had missed: a small fan was missing! He's now working on getting me a replacement for it. I'm happy with the service.

I had an AC that stopped cooling properly; there was freezing on the ac pipes as well.

We had a family friend who does AC & heating work, but since he was unavailable for a week, we thought we’d pay $49 for precision to check it.

2 repair people show up on time, check the AC unit, and the first question they ask: are you going to be moving soon? Implying you need a new AC.

Of course we ask why. He says: you have a refrigerant leak somewhere, to get the leak solved you’ll need new coils which is $3500 minimum, and 7 gallons of refrigerant on an old AC model costing $300/lb.

So he sends us quotes: MINIMUM $11000!!!

I could get 11 $1000 Goodman AC’s on amazon for that price! The highest option was over $20000!

So we wait the week for the family friend who’s an expert in the field and a supervisor for a large company in the industry.

So he stopped by, he checked the leak which appeared to be coming from a small valve in the line where there was a lot of pressure. He replaced the valve, filled the AC with refrigerant. The refrigerant he filled it with was an alternative kind which works but is not as expensive. The total job was $250 and it’s up and running.

I give Precision Heating & Air 2 stars!!

They did not look at the existing AC system with the intent to save value for the customer. It was 100% about: What model system do you have? How old is it? If it’s over 10 years old - How can we convince you to buy a new one? I have no doubt they can install a brand new AC & furnace system, but they made zero effort tell me:
- where is the refrigerant leak?
- how can we diagnose & repair that leak?
- what are cost effective ways to fill refrigerant?

My advice to Precision: get serious about what your customer wants. They want value & longevity out of their AC & Heating systems. Nobody wants to drop $11k+ every 10 years. I feel as if this company tried to capitalize on my lack of knowledge and I was fortunate to have a trusted family friend to get the unit fixed.

Quick simple easy. Was even the same guy who did some work on my system 2 years ago. Remembered me the house and somehow the dogs name. Will def call again.

Ramiro was prompt and responsive when scheduling the visist. He was also very knowledgeable and I felt comfortable taking his recommendations on needed repairs to keep our heat pump in good condition. Precision has been great overall and I recommend them highly based on my experiences.
