We called Precision Air and asked for Darren, our favorite technician. He was not available for a week and our a/c was cutting on and off. We were scared it would quit all together in the 100 degrees plus weather we were having so we reluctantly decided another technician could come out. Much to our delight, when the text came across that Precision Air was on their way, Darren was the technician coming out! We were thrilled! When he arrived we told him we thought someone else was coming out. He said, I saw that y'all requested me and we just made it happen so I could come out. He diagnosed the problem and had the parts on his truck so he could fix the issue. Darren always takes the time to explain the issue to us. He is very friendly and an expert in his field! We highly recommend him to everyone!
Precision installed system 4 years ago. Great installation and follow up. Unit stopped cooling. Didn't have an appointment for days so had another company come out after hours and they charged us $360 to diagnose leak in evaporator coil, recommending replacement under warranty. Asked Precision to take a look since they installed it. Two trucks arrived: Precision HVAC and Fox Home Services (same company). One guy says, "This is a nice neighborhood." They wanted $1887 to do a NEW leak search which would take another full week to diagnose. Fixing the actual problem(s) would, of course, be extra. They wanted to change the "weak" capacitor too for $395. Fox Service Co, there looking around for things to do, was trying to sell me a new $3660 water heater. Complete sales ambush. Totally NOT cool. I'll go back to the first company who didn't want to add all that refrigerant for all of it to leak out again.
Javier, Ernesto and Jose were all super! Everything was explained to me as they took out my old system and put in my new system they were very clean in their work and very polite throughout the time they were here. There was some difficulty in making the unit fit in an inside closet and they made adjustments for that even though it took them longer and they also were able to make sure that my ionizer and Halo were still working correctly. I'm incredibly pleased with everything that they did.
Eric Suarez was a great technician. He was here when expected and accomplished the work in a professional manner. After he completed the service he did a great job cleaning up the job site and walked me through the fix. He answered all my questions, even those dealing with my HVAC system and not related to the fix.
Every time I have had precision come out they seem honest and kind and do a great job. They seem to want to take care of their customers and it’s nice to feel that way especially when you’re in a spot of crisis that can easily be taken advantage of. Scott Bandy was our tech and he was great and efficient. Thanks so much for helping me and my family out!
Our air conditioning started blowing warm air during a stretch of 100 degree days. On arrival, Wayland asked relevant questions and quickly found the problem. Luckily, the failed part is one that the company keeps in its repair trucks. We appreciated the professionalism and service.
My AC failed during the hottest spell of weather my home city of Austin has ever experienced in June. It was difficult to find any servicer who was not booked for weeks because of the high demand for repairs. Precision was able to get me an appointment within a week, which was better than 3 other companies I had contacted. Although the technician arrived a bit late without a notification, the customer service line explained clearly what was going on, and I had expected it anyway. (Hence minus that one star.) The repair was completed on the first visit after about 20 minutes, which was excellent, and the price was quite reasonable.
I had my old unit diagnosed as too costly to repair. I got the financing, old unit removed, and new unit installed in 30 hours. Super happy, I bought a 10 year parts & labor warranty. The installers, Jose & Jose, were super fast, courteous, and highly professional.
Ramiro Espinoza came out the night my AC stopped cooling. He was able to get it up and running quickly. The system still needed work done and Ramiro explained everything. He came back out a week later and got the work done quickly. He's was very friendly and professional. Give this man a big lunch!
Richard Santellan drove an hour to get to our place at midnight. He had a capacitor replaced and the AC back and running in probably 10 minutes. He was an awesome guy too. I’d highly recommend him for any job.
