My unit was not cooling properly. It seem to be getting way to warm in the house with little relief from the summer heat. I had never used this company but have heard only good things about the owners and the staff, so I decided to give them a try. I called and told them my problems and THEY were able to work me in that day, even though they were extremely busy.One of their service techs came out and diagnosed our unit with having a coil leaking. It’s a small leak and we will have them come back soon to fix this but in the meantime, we added Freon to the unit and now it’s so cold in the house, I need to wear a sweatshirt when I come home every day. Anyway, I found that their staff and TECHS were very professional and courteous and I didn’t feel like I was overcharged. I would recommend them to anyone!

My A/C died on me 2 days ago in the middle of the night. I called DHC the first thing in the morning and they sent over their technician Immediately. The technicians checked the whole system and told me that a switch board in my AC has malfunctioned and it will have to be replaced. They checked every detail and even found that the part was under warranty from the company (which I didn't know). They got the part from the company and fixed it promptly. I am very pleased with their service and will continue to use their services.

Absolutely the worst workmanship I've ever seen! They put a new unit in for me and had the pad under unit slanted toward the house with shims under the back of unit so when it rained the water ran under my house. I called them back out and they had to pull the new unit and reset the pad. The silicone between the house ( which is rock) looked like a third grader played with a caulking gun. I did not call them back for that I found it easier to just fix myself. After a year and a half we had problems with the unit so I reluctantly called them out and it took 5 trips for them to diagnose the problem. I will never make that mistake again!

Jerry Denton with DHC was referred to me few years ago when my air unit went out, by my father that is also a well known local business owner and thought they were a good honest company. Ever since and more and more every year, my unit (as well as my dad's unit before he finally went somewhere else this previous year and got a whole new unit) messes up at least twice a year. When I bought this unit from Jerry I was told it was a high quality unit and I paid over $4k for it. Since Ive gotten it installed, I have had to pay them $150 - $300 to come out and fix it at least twice a year, per visit. It is currently messed up again. Third time this summer! The last time they came out, they replaced the fan motor on the top of the unit and told me the parts were under warranty, as they always tell me and I will just be billed labor and diagnostic fees. After they replaced the motor, I came home to wires hanging out the top of the unit. I found out today they have been putting after market (even cheaper) parts on my unit... for parts that are suppose to be covered under warranty. My unit is only a few years old. I was also told, by several other reputable companies, the unit put on my house is one of the cheapest units out there (EverRest extreme comfort) and I was ripped off, when I was told personally by Jerry is was a high end unit. It has become more and more obvious this company is only after money and does not care about their customers and the quality they provide to them. Very untrustworthy company in my opinion. Me, nor my family, will ever refer this company and their business to anyone else again.
