Horrendous. Their technicians need training. I ended up fixing my own furnance after technician misdiagnosed issue 3 times. First it was inducer needing replaced, next it was ignitor and finally the entire board needed replacing. I had to stop service after saying board needed replacing. I literally debugged and fixed the problem 1. Inducer 2. Blown fuse form technician shorting ignitor 3. Inducer tubes not properly in tighten and pushed, causing valves to not kick on. Pushed and adjusted all tubes. 4. Ignitor not installed in proper location. Mind you I have almost no experience fixing hvacs and I figured this out.
I've used Boehmer in the past & had a favorable experience with a particular technician. When I was in need of service again, I called back requesting an appointment with the same technician. Since he was booking over a month out, I was very specific with the scheduler regarding my scheduling needs & availability with work. I was assured an afternoon timeframe appointment was available that day, so I booked.
Fast forward to after almost a month of waiting for my appointment when I get a call indicating the only time they can come that day now is in the morning due to a scheduling conflict on their end. I totally understand things happen, but I reminded my reasons for needing an afternoon appointment in the first place and asked the soonest they could reschedule me.
Boehmer graciously gave me the options to wait over an additional month through the end of December, or schedule someone else.
This is definitely not the same treatment I received the first time around.. Boehmer's poor customer service and total disregard for a person's loyalty or time is the reason I will not be back again.. I will also no longer recommend this company to my family or friends. If a company encounters a scheduling conflict on THEIR end, the appropriate resolution is NOT to disregard a customer's original request and offer them to wait an additional 5 weeks. Needless to say I opted cancel Boehmer- what a waste of time! I really liked that particular technician, but will gladly be taking my business elsewhere in support of a company that actually values their customers!
This company- specifically this Man is super knowledgeable about boilers! My house is 100 years old. My heating system is efficient $ and reliable and honest because of this company. 🙏
It was -3 degrees and my power kept going on and off. It was 49 degrees at my house. He showed up even though it well after business hours and stayed until it was fixed. A+++ Thank you
Our friend used this service and they do not have google and asked us to post for them. The performed a winter service check for 3 furnaces and were extremely happy with the service (so much so they wanted to make sure they received a positive review).
He did an excellent job communicating our current situation , what needed to be done to repair/keep heating system from not operating properly. He was very professional.
