The technician worked quickly and competently and answered all my questions. I was pleased with the service.

My furnace went out during the Christmas 2022 ice storm where temperatures were below 0°F. Unable to resolve it myself, I called around to many companies and Boehmer was the first to respond. They came out that night to look at it and told me it was a bad inducer, but they couldn't get the part for several days (given the holiday) and it would cost several hundred dollars.

We ended up packing up all of our pets and going to a relative's since the temperature was too extreme to weather. On a friend's suggestion, I went back home and looked at the air intake vent on the outside of the house and found there was a thin layer of ice blocking it. A quick smack dislodged the ice, allowing air to flow and the furnace to come to life.

I'm annoyed that the technician didn't find this extremely simple fix, as they should be the expert. I don't know if it was ineptitude in diagnosing the problem, or greed in wanting to sell a part, but I'm upset that we went without heat and had to relocate for 36 hours due to a non-issue. I'll give them some credit because they didn't charge us for the visit, which is something, but I wouldn't trust them to find a problem again.

Installed a new furnace. Very professional. Installed in one day. There was a water leakage issue and the owner thanked me for letting him know there was a problem. Came and repaired the problem. It was a hose that disconnected. Steve is a kind person who respects his customers. I am very happy with my new furnace.

We had the yearly check done on our heating system / furnace. Our technician, Rotley, was very professional & friendly. He answered all of my questions & definitely seemed to know what he was doing. I would recommend Boehmer & Rotley to anyone needing service on their heating / cooling systems.
