Chadds Ford Climate Control

My AC stopped working and the unit iced up. I called Chadds Ford Climate Control Sunday evening. They sent Ethan out to my home the next day. He showed up on time and was extremely courteous and professional. He had to run out to the shop and pick up a new motor for me. He came back later that afternoon during a bad thunderstorm and had my unit up and running in no time. Ethan was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing during the process. I'm also having trouble with my upstairs AC system. I've been having a problem keeping it cool. Ethan spent a good bit of time testing the system and crawled through my attic in spaces I didn't think a person could even fit. He couldn't find any problems with the unit but needs to do a test when the weather is warmer. The storm brought the temperature down to about 70° making it hard for him to test certain parts of our system. He assured me that he would come back out at no additional charge after work one day when the weather was warmer. I have the utmost confidence in both Ethan and Chadds Ford Climate Control. They did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them. Thank you!

Brandon came out for my bi-annual service. He was personable and professional. He took off his shoes while in the house and vacuumed up any dust that fell out during the service. He even took the time to recommend specific humidifier filter changing requirements that I needed because I have cork flooring in my home. Thanks, Brandon for taking that extra time to educate me about how I can help take care of my flooring investment that way!

We've been using Climate Control for all of our HVAC needs for what's adding up to many years. From full AC system replacement to full furnace replacement and minor things here and there. They are very responsive, courteous, friendly and thorough. Pricing seems reasonable as well.

Every single time we have Chadds Ford Climate out to help us with a problem they provide the best solution. Ethan was out recently to help with our heater and he quickly figured out the problem and got us up and running! Ethan is always patient in explaining the system and is very bright and polite. Thanks CFCC and Ethan! We have used them for years and have never been disappointed.

This was the third company I had come out to solve a problem with my ductless outdoor unit shutting down after 10 minutes. This was the only company that actually solved the problem of a mouse chewing up and shorting out a couple thermistors. After fixing the thermistors and recharging the system with the refrigerant it has run perfectly for several months now. Little on the expensive side or they would have gotten 5 stars.

Marty was knowledgeable, efficient and took the time to research my issue and fixed it quickly. He also found another issue and was able to resolve it at the same time. These have been long term concerns that grew over time. Feeling very relieved and thankful for Marty and Chaddsford Climate Control!

My husband and I purchased an old house and have quickly learned we are not "handy". We have wasted time and money with companies like horizon, boulden brothers and roto-rooter. We have always felt used and mistreated by the big companies. It wasn't until we met Martin that we felt like we can finally trust someone. Martin has been out to our house multiple times and shows up on time and with a smile. He gets the job done every single time and is a pleasure to work with. He even deals with a screaming newborn while he is working. Because of Martin my husband and I will only be calling Chadds Ford Climate Control for any repairs needed. I wish I could give him ten stars!!!

My Geothermal Air Conditioner broke down late summer.
We are seniors. The house temperature rose to 80 degrees F.
Sleeping was difficult and our comfort level was severely diminished.
No problem, I have a paid yearly contract with a plumbing and AC repair company for7 years. I called them and explained my situation. They have serviced my Geothermal AC unit for seven years. When I spoke to their service manager he explained that they did not have a qualified geothermal service technician and would not have a technician available for 6 days..
I called five local West Chester AC repair services and they all asked me if I was their customer. They said the best they could do was four days. I
My sixth call was to Chadds Ford Climate Control. I hit the jackpot. Jen answered the phone. She expressed compassion for my situation. Jen said that Brandon who is their on call after hours service technician will call me.
Brandon called within 20 minutes. He asked me if I ever had work done by them before. I said no. Brandon then went right into troubleshooting mode. He was extremely patient with me. I know my ac system very well. I could tell from the way Brandon was asking me to check some basic things that he also knew Geothermal systems.
My house temperature had dropped down to 75 degrees, uncomfortable but bearable. I felt that Brandon was very willing to come and repair my AC that night. I did not ask for him to come and repair the unit that night. Brandon said he will contact the service manager and have some one get in tough with me first thing in the morning.
To my pleasant surprise Jen called me early the next morning and told me that Justin could be at my home between 12 and 2 pm. I was speechless, here was a company that was willing to schedule a service technician the very next day after my service call.
The appointment was set. Justine arrived at 11:40 am. My motto has been "When you are early, you are on time. When you are on time you are late."
Justin was on time and eager to get my AC working again.
Justin is a very accomplished Geothermal AC technician. He is very methodical and trouble shoots in an orderly fashion. He found that the high pressure copper compressor line had cracked causing the Freon 410 to leak out. He continued to check for any possible secondary problems that the loss of Freon may have caused.
Justine had to order the necessary repair parts. He then returned to complete the repair. The challenge was that he had to replace a copper tube which had to be brazed inside the already cramped enclosure. A feat impossible for most, difficult for some and Justine made it look easy.
After evacuating the system, he then recharged the system. He seemed to be very comfortable explaining what he was doing.
He then ran pressure and temperature checks on the system. The system passed with flying colors.
Justin then checked the closed loop circulating fluid pressure and temperature. He found that over the 7 years the fluid pressure was low. Justine then brought the fluid pressure up to operating pressure again.
Justine definitely has the knowledge, understanding, and technical expertise to repair Geothermal AC units.

Brandon -- A team player, Friendly, dedicated, professional, skilled, and determined. It was nice to know that Brandon would do whatever it took to have a satisfied new customer.
Justin -- A team Player, Friendly, respectful, professional, hard working, dedicated, determined, smart, and very savvy with his technical ability.
Justin has the quality of a service technician you would want when you have a problem. He definitely has a gift for trouble shooting.
