Curtis Total Service

Several months ago, we had Curtis Total Service do regular annual maintenance of our oil boiler. About six weeks later, on Friday, our boiler was not firing. We called Curtis, but because we did not have a service contract, they would not be able to come out until Monday. As of Monday, nothing was scheduled by them. We called another HVAC company. They came out within hours. The reason the boiler was not firing was that the igniters were out of alignment. These were part of the annual service. The other company’s policy is that if heater breaks down for any reason during the season after their tune-up, they’ll refund the cost or put it towards the cost of repair. Even though our boiled stopped working weeks after Curtis serviced it, Curtis could not be bothered to make it a priority to follow-up on their service.

Curtis' reply glosses over the issue. This was not a repair. It was annual maintenance. The technician did not properly align the ignitors after replacing the nozzle. I need a service contract in order for Curtis to make good on an error during maintenance? Or, given it was a "fall special" all bets are off if the technician makes a mistake? Smoke screen reply. How about reimbursing me for the charge by another HVAC company for coming out and fixing your error. If you'd come out to fix your mistake, we'd not be having this conversation.

Work was good.. Jared was good… But for a simple sink leak they took advantage of my elderly father charging almost 1500 … I come to find out there being looked into for price gouging and being sued from what I’m hearing …… be careful using this company

The two guys Jake & Jacob put a bunch of toilet paper down yo see if a blockage anywhere there was no issue when flushing. They offered yo snake it but we felt it did not need it. They were very helpful explained everything clearly.

We have used Curtis for our heat pump and plumbing needs for years. They are always quick to come out for general servicing and maintenance. Recently we had our heat pump semi-annual service, and the technician noticed that our hot water heater was very close to springing a leak. We were able to get that replaced within days , and avoid a catastrophe. The Gold Plan is well worth it, giving free inspections and discounts on products and services. In addition, the technicians are always respectful, knowledgeable and very nice. We highly recommend this company for all your home needs.

It was very easy to explain my problem and have someone come out to my home in a quick manner to look at our clogged toilet. Technician Jason was very polite, professional. He quickly was able to diagnose our problem and take care of it in a very reasonable amount of time and made sure that the issue was resolved before he left. They could not have been more courteous and efficient. I Would highly recommend Curtis Total Service for any of your plumbing needs, it would be difficult to find better service and quality in the valley!

We just started using Curtis Total Service last fall, and they have been nothing but professional, Courteous, helpful and always smiling! We had to have a new AC unit installed and the guys that came out were very nice and helpful. Prices are very reasonable compared to other companies. Would HIGHLY recommend them for any service!

I am very disappointed to be writing this review, as Curtis has worked on my house before. I contacted Curtis for help with a bathroom renovation project. The representative was nice and knowledgeable. I'm not sure what happened when he left but he said he would get back to me with an estimate. I was never contacted. A week later I called to see what was going on. The person I spoke to on the phone said that the tech decided they weren't going to do the job and should have told me that. They then said they tech would call me to explain and that too, never happened.

Curtis has always been responsive, on time, and knowledgable. Repairs are well done. Jake and Jake were all of these and more. We really appreciate Curtis and their excellent technicians!

I inherited a rather dilapidated mobile home which needed extensive work. Curtis Total Services of the Lehigh Valley was one of the first companies I called and I’m glad I did. It was a pleasure working with their team and I have complete peace of mind having witnessed the quality of their work.

Jason worked on the various plumbing issues and was super proficient and thorough. Communication was good at all times, and everyone showed up when expected. In addition to needing heat tape installed under the unit, they discovered that the previous plumber had removed insulation and never replaced it which had resulted in pipes bursting. The team from Curtis did a great job with the insulation and membrane and repaired an additional area they discovered that was over and above the quote they gave me. Matt and Nick installed a new AC unit and cleaned the heater which hadn’t been done in years.

I was impressed by how professional and personable all of the staff from Curtis were. A completely unexpected bonus came after the repairs were made. I discovered a drip from the master shower that was unrelated to the repair on the burst pipe. Rich Price had Jason take care of the drip (as well as a poorly installed pipe from the previous plumber) at no additional expense for which I am exceedingly grateful. I can’t say enough about what a great outfit Curtis Total Service is. The work that was previously done on this mobile home was so shoddy it was beyond belief. It felt great to hire a company whose quality of work is impeccable. I highly recommend Curtis Total Services to anyone who wants the job done right the first time. They’re a great outfit and they were a pleasure to work with.

We use Curtis Total Service twice a year to do maintenance on our HVAC and furnace. They have always been very respectful and very educated. They have answered every question we have had. They call you to let you know when they are on their way and to update you if they are running a little late. Last week, someone came out to do the yearly maintenance and informed us that our whole HVAC system had to be replaced. He broke it down for us and explained all the problems our system was having(without us noticing) and that it had become a fire hazard. It took them 3 days to install our new system. Changing such systems is very expensive, and even though we did not do this, they have a financing program for their customers. On the day of installing, we had 4 guys come out to do the job. They were so nice that even my dog wanted to hang out with them. She kept waiting for them to come up the stairs for belly rubs. When they were done, the one in charge took time to show me the new system and to go over it. He explained all the new things that were added and what their purpose. Again, we could not be more grateful to work with such wonderful company.We will definitely be using them for life.
