Evergreen Gas Heating & Cooling

Evergreen was recommended to me by my neighbor. She said "they aren't the cheapest, but they are great". She was correct on both counts. They arrived when they said they would, diagnosed the issue and then came back and installed the parts needed. Our Tech, Koby, was professional and knowledgeable, and put my mind at ease with what he was doing. The best thing I can say is when my heater suddenly stopped working a few days after they where here, I called and Koby was back in less than an hour to reset a switch, that might not have even been related to the original repair, gave me a suggestion on what to do if it happens again, and there was no charge.

If you are willing to pay a little extra for professionals and excellent service, then I highly recommend Evergreen. I certainly am and I will use them again in the future.

Our fireplaces had not been serviced in 10 years and I am so grateful to Michael, the service tech, who cleaned and inspected and gave advice regarding use during a power outage. Best of all, during the inspection of one of the fireplaces, he discovered cracks which is a safety hazard, so a replacement burner was ordered and I hope Michael will be the one to do install the new burner.

A HUGE THANK YOU to the team at Evergreen. I had them come out and do a safety check and redo my gas fireplace log set. From scheduling the call to notifying me of when the tech would arrive ( with his picture) everything was perfect. Shawn the technician was fantastic, walked me through what he was going to do. Shawn was very considerate of safety, he masked up and had cleaners available. Shawn took incredible care of my brand new hardwoods and carpets placing clean drop cloths and floor savers all over. We had them rebuild our log set which was over twenty years old. Shawn took his time and meticulously cleaned and rebuilt our log set. He hand placed all the embers and rock. We had two gas fireplaces serviced. The technician did a nice job. The service was priced fairly and using their maintenance plan is a way to save more. We were pleased with the work and plan to use them again.

Everyone was thoughtful helpful on time and professional. They worked to find us the best price and really listened to what we wanted. They were also very careful during the installation and responsive when we asked for changes. A great company.

The folks at Evergreen Gas Heating and Cooling were very helpful. They were actual able to send Anthony out a day before our scheduled appointment. Anthony was able to quickly fix out problem and get our air conditioner working again. Everyone I dealt with from the first phone call to the technician was helpful and professional. I buy the new AC unit from them . I choice them because my furnace has the same brand of their AC .
My house is a brand new house , I thought it would be better if I use the same brand AC .
First of all , I set an appointment for the inspection, the day set , the guy show up . After walk around my house and check my furnace and electrical panel . He said my house better use the big AC and if I want to buy the big AC I have to rerun the wires because the wires too small .

The guy who came to my house to inspect has the name TJ Jarrard , his business card show he is the general manager . It’s made me believe in what he said.
To rerun the wires I have to pay 1750$ for electrician , including the AC 8499$ and fee installation for the AC is 200$ .
I accepted that price .
The day they come to my house to install the AC , 2 guys show up and the do the job very well .
I asked them about rerun the wires, they said the electricians will come later to do that .
I stayed there and watching them do the job and then the electricians show up later at noon .
Guess what . I been expected they would do the job rerun wires all day . But 2 guys show up , one of them asked me where is the electrical panel , he opened it, shut down the power and replace the circuit breaker 40amp and then he closes the panel , that circuit breaker cost about 15$ in homedepot , the other guy went to my backyard, cut 3 wires about 3ft long to connect my ac to the breaker and then wrap the wires by a piece of plastic .
He bent all the screws when he close the ac cover and then walk away . He said , the job done .
They don’t even walk into the furnace room to look the wires good enough or not . Dont do anything to test or check the AC . NOTHING .
The 2 guys who install the AC from the morning helped to fix all the bent screws .
Total time the electricians spent there to work at my house just about 15 minutes .
After an hour the lady from their company call me and said congratulations for the new AC , because they dont need to rerun the wires so they give me back 750$ discount .
I can’t believe that .
15 minutes do the job everyone can do and leave with the mess. They charge me 1000$
THIS IS A TRAP . The guy set this trap from the first day he came to my house to inspect.
DONT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY SAY .
Just think about if I allow them to install the AC without me at home , they would take all 1750$ without saying anything .

I was having trouble scheduling an HVAC specialist for maintenance and cleaning our furnace. I noticed the neighbor had an Evergreen truck parked in front of our house so I approached the driver/installer and asked him about Evergreen. He mentioned they were in town and could probably respond quickly. He gave me a brochure. I called the next day and scheduled an appointment for the following day. Anthony came out and provided the service and went the extra mile to connect a loose vent pipe. He was very professional and did a great job.
I recommend this company highly.

We hired them to perform maintenance on our HVAC system before this heat wave per NW Natural’s discounted service offering. Everything was functioning before they were here, and now the AC doesn’t function at all. They said there was a refrigerant leak and we need a complete new system, but they couldn’t find the source of the leak - then they quoted a refill charge of $455/lb. A few months ago, another technician with a different company came out to service the system, and didn’t replenish the refrigerant because he didn’t have it on hand - there’s no leak, they just didn’t ask or check.

Now we’re in a heat advisory with a mysteriously non-functioning AC, and I found the refrigerant available online: 10 lbs for $465 total. So they tried to charge us a 10,000% markup, or get me to spend $10k on a new system, and have guaranteed the need with a now non-functioning HVAC system.

They presented us with an invoice for work, including “signatures” certifying our satisfaction with the work completed, but we neither signed anything, nor are satisfied. Instead, we are stuck with a broken HVAC system, our infant’s nursery at a dangerous/sweltering 85 degrees, and no choice but to invest in a new system. Needless to say, we’ll make our purchase elsewhere.

I have worked with Evergreen Gas on multiple projects in my home including the installation of a gas log fireplace - LOVE IT - and recently a complete new heating and air conditioning system. I have total confidence in the entire company. They are honest, knowledgeable and consistently professional. Molly and the other office staff members and courteous, efficient and helpful. For product info, I've recommended TJ to several neighbors for consultations. I know he will give them accurate, valuable information. My tech, Justin, is top notch. Very knowledgeable and extremely capable. My recent installation techs, Isaac and Jose, were prompt, friendly and highly competent. They did such a good job of cleaning up at the end of each day, I said it was like they had never been here! My new heat and a/c are working great. I couldn't ask for better service.
