Very knowledgeable about the diagnostics on our AC unit. Described everything very clearly. Great installation team and customer service. They were able to help us troubleshoot some questions concerning our warranty.

The people were wonderful. They saved our lives starting with Jimmy on Sunday who sent a tech over to tell us that our furnace was gone. We spent two days in a 50 degree home and Monday the wonderful crew installed a new furnace. The company was so wonderful that the brought us, on Sunday, two space heaters to help us stay warm. I can't say enough good things about this company and would recommend them to anyone!!

They came out when they said they would, and fixed the issue with my A/C unit. However, after a reasonable $230 charge for an electrician to replace a breaker, the technician replaces 3 small parts and charges $439 - EACH, for a total or $1317 (not counting the electrician charge). He spent ~2hrs, so let's assume $150/hr, plus parts (in their own words, typically a minimal portion, so let's say $100 total) - so I was essentially billed a $917 trip charge.
I would have looked up the parts, but they won't tell you what the part numbers were.
As part of the explanation of their flat charge of $439 per part, I'm told that a doctor doing 3 tests in one day wouldn't provide a discount either. Of course, those tests would be done by a lab that does one test at a time. Or maybe they meant to suggest that their cost is aligned with medical professionals?

Eric came by to diagnose why our heat pump was not working. He checked all parts of the system and explained our options as far as repair versus replacement. While the news was not good Eric did an excellent job of getting us the information and taking the time to answer all our questions.

Sunset has worked on our HVAC for years and I always find them responsive and helpful. Even when scheduling is a challenge, they make the effort to get a tech quickly. The techs have been professional and knowledgeable.

My repair didn’t cost that much and my technician Sam was great so I decided to buy an amazing air cleaning product and he installed it same day! What a great service , it’s no wonder Sunset has been in business for 100 years!

Estimator (Rolf) understood my system requirements, and provided a reasonable quote for our project. The installation team (Jake and Vantee) were efficient, friendly and on time. System startup was a breeze with no problems.

I've been really appreciative of Sunset with their transparency, effort, and completeness when fixing my furnace. I had two firms come out and give me a quote regarding my furnace. The first - who was nice and professional, but in the end, basically said my only option was for an entirely new furnace - and then followed up with the quote. The second, was Sunset, who sent Jason out for the initial visit - where he spent considerable time investigating and reviewing the set up. He then advised that he would not recommend replacing the entire furnace, instead helped us identify that the blower had burned out and could be swapped out. In the end, he was spot on. They ordered the part and the install was done by quite possibly one of the nicest human individuals on the planet, Eduardo. Patient, professional, and extremely kind. He was a pleasure to work with and built trust from minute one. It's not awesome when your furnace blows out in the middle of the winter. But, it's awesome to know we have the kind and fair folks at Sunset to help us get back going again.

Sunset heating and cooling installed a new Daikin HVAC system in my house. Veniamen and Daniel who did the bulk of my duct install were very professional and did a great job! Adam and Bryce helped troubleshoot the unit to get the heating and cooling rate within a reasonable time window. Overall, quality service from experienced professionals.
Adding to my review additional thanks to Kathy and Julie for coordinating all the site visits. They were responsive and empathetic to my heating situation during the winter.

Shavon was incredible; she was informative, walked me through every possible permutation of our individual situation, and spent additional time with me to understand my options and provide recommendations. She spoke with candor and was incredibly patient with me throughout the entire experience. Great service, great product and value!
