The technicians informed me of their impending arrival and they showed up on schedule. They were professional and friendly.
After locating the old units, they went directly to work removing them. Justin answered our questions thoroughly and pleasantly. Upon completion of installing the new HVAC system, we were informed of what to expect upon each test of the system. We were also informed of who to call should there be any questions or problems. They respected us, our property, and cleaned up all the debris. Both technicians are a credit to Sunset Heating and Cooling.

I cannot recommend Sunset. It is my fault for not doing my homework ahead of time. They changed a $20 capacitor on my AC compressor and charged me $429!!! The industry standard is between $140-$200 for the same job. If you need a capacitor replaced, I recommend going somewhere else.

My air conditioner stopped working on the first few really hot days of the year, and I was able to schedule service within a week! Our technician was nice, professional, speedy, and friendly! It turned out that I had a blown part, but he had one on hand and replaced it right away! I highly recommend Sunset Heating & Cooling. Good staff

Nathan was great! Very knowledgeable, professional, amiable & didn't try to sell me the top of the line expensive heat pump. I told him my situation & he suggested one that fit my plan & budget. I love the 10 months, zero interest or payments. The technicians will be here on Monday to install it, just in time to have it running before the heat wave. ♨️

Sunset were great and I highly recommend them! From the time Nathan came out to do our HVAC inspection to when Justin and Ramiro came to install our new A/C and heat pump. They were easy to work with and talked me through all available options to come up with the best one for us. I truly can not recommend them enough, thank you!

One star is generous. I started the process of getting a heat pump over a month ago. Since the first installation, sunset heating and cooling has been to my home over seven times. AND, I still do not have a functioning heat pump.

I thought it would be best to use the same company that installed the furnace in my home. That was a mistake. I have had to call multiple times to inquire about the status of when installation will be complete. This experience has been horrendous. Use this company if you are okay with never having heating or cooling again.

Taylor was great to work with. I just bought my home, and he helped educate me on some things regarding my HVAC system. He is a consummate professional who takes pride in what he does, as it is evident by the service he provides. A great technician.

Our HVAC system was turning off automatically with in 15 minutes and we were getting messages on thermostat about it. I called Sunset Heating & Cooling company and I got an appointment easily. The technician was very friendly and came on time to check the issue.

The technician checked everything but could not root cause the issue. He said that the issue is to replace a part which is going to cost me almost equal to a price of new furnace as.he needs to open whole system and the labor for it will be huge too.

He suggested to replace the existing furnace with new one and gave me quote for new furnace ranging from seven thousand dollar($7000) to thirteen thousand dollars ($13000). I was about to replace the whole furnace but my wife said it’s too much money and we should hire another company to take a look and see it’s really the whole furnace which need to be replaced to solve this issue.

We hired another HVAC company and he root caused the issue in just 30 minutes and serviced it. The problem solved. Saved me huge amount of money.

The Sunset Heating & Cooling company technician charged $129. But he couldn’t root caused the issue correctly. Beware from Sunset Heating & Cooling company technician as they are NOT having right knowledge of root causing issue and you may end up paying a lot.

Justin and his team hit the mark with a very courteous and friendly install. The total install cost was terrific value. They are fast, too. I had the install done the same week as the estimate! Kudos!

I needed to upgrade an outlet from a 15 amp to a 20 amp to be able to plug in my new spa. Aaron arrived promptly assessed the situation and gave me two choices as to how to proceed with the job. He was wonderful at educating me as to what the choices were, I had another company also giving me a bid for the same job and they came up twice as expensive as Sunset so I highly recommend Sunset heating and cooling. as well as Aaron Bishop he is top notch.
