I called them to figure out why our A/C wasn't working. They were able to get someone out the very next day. Eric was very professional and and explained everything very clearly. Definitely recommend!

Sam, our technician, was fabulous. I’m subtracting a star for other issues. We’ve had misunderstandings with Sunset about when appointments are scheduled. Also, we’ve had two instances when we were promised a callback that didn’t happen. Today, though, very happy! Sam was careful, seemed knowledgeable, and communicated well.

They did a very careful job, even helping me remove unused wiring that would have prevented a full cleaning of the ducts. And they even answered some questions about my thermostat and helped with programming. Simply max-stars work.

Matt inspected HVAC for noise/repair. Very professional and thorough about his work. Knew what was doing. Determined system was old and too many issues and should be replaced. Provided quotes and explained all the options.

Tim was great. He came earlier than expected and we weren't yet home, but he waited patiently for us. Another local company said our furnace wasn't fixable without replacing the control board and another really expensive part. Tim replaced a blown fuse, and it was up and running in no time for less than $200. We have used Sunset before (7 years ago), and we were happy with them then as well.

Filipe and Gabe worked very hard and long replacing my very old AC unit. They were very professional, communicating as they went along throughout the day. Even when the old wiring added a hic-up they knew what to do and handled it with tenacity and skill. I highly recommend Filipe, Gabe and Sunset Heating and Cooling.
