What a positive experience! I had some issues with my Daikon split heating and cooling unit. I called Jacobs Heating and Air Conditioning.
Peter, the technician, arrived promptly, and not only resolved my initial problem, but took the time to answer all my questions and made suggestions on how I could better maintain my unit going forward. All done with such a positive attitude. The people I dealt with in the office were the same. Professional, friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend the business more! Thank you Jacobs.

Fantastic quality and work.

Moses kept us well informed during each step of our heat pump install. Wherever there was a decision to be made, he consulted with us and thoroughly explained how the system worked and what settings and placement would be optimal.

After the install, everything was cleaned and swept. Masks were worn at all times and a high level of safety precautions were followed.

I needed help asap with a hot water heater situation. I called a few places and received a few different diagnoses. Jacobs was super friendly and got someone out to give me an estimate right away. When he showed up, he was not in a truck and was not wearing anything to identify that he was with Jacobs. I showed him the hot water heater and he looked at it for maybe two minutes before leaving. He did not do an inspection.
Then I was sent a bid for $5,600! It was a full replacement which I may have needed but how would he even know? I am a single working mom and I do not like being lied to or taken advantage of. Good thing I found a different company to actually diagnose the issue and get me a new system for $2,500. What a bummer this could have been such a waste or time, resources, and money!

Dealing with the Jacobs service department is like have a root canal without any pain medication. Every time I made a call to their service dept I have a 5 to 10 minute wait before someone comes on the line.
I have made 4 appointments to have part replaced in my heater and at the same time get my winter tune-up which I prepaid for. Today I finally got the heater part replaced but they did not schedule the winter tune-up as I requested so now I have make another call to schedule the winter tun-up.
HORRIBLE Service Department!!!!!

When our air conditioner recently broke down I called and emailed the installer, who never got back to me. A friend recommended Jacobs so I called them and scheduled an appointment. Bryan D came to our house and fixed the problem, was very thorough, and explained everything he was doing in an easy to understand way. We signed up for a service agreement so they'll come back in the autumn to check on our furnace too. I recommend giving them a call.

Jacobs Heating and Air conditioning installed our HVAC system 11 years ago, and I continue to be impressed by their service! Bryon D. was both professional and courteous in all manners of our service call. He patiently listened to my concerns and addressed everything. Jacobs gave us a very reasonable quote and had to schedule us out a few months, but were here when we were told. Loved the cool air right when we needed it! Would recommend them anytime.

We requested for the repair on our AC Unit back in May 2022.

Getting diagnotics of the unit and receiving a quote alone took over a month. (June 2022)

A month passed by and we heard no updates from them. Turns out they have never ordered the parts from the factory and we were given a month to get everything to be fixed. (Jul 2022)

Received a call in Aug 2022 that the part has arrived, yet they don’t have an opening until Sept 2nd 2022. Keep in mind we called them and requested for the repair back in May. During this time they double charged us for an initial diagnostics, and wanted us to pay up front for the repair.

And finally the day has come. The long waited Sept 2nd. We get a call at 8:24am on the DAY OF our scheduled repair day, which we have waiting for 4 months now.
THEY ARE MISSING A PART AND REPAIR CAN NO LONGER BE COMPLETED. Of course they will figure this out on the day of the repair. They had 3 weeks after the initial parts have arrived.
Now we have to wait for another part to arrive, an no estimated time was given.
No apologize or anything, they simply said “there is nothing we can do”

With $364 per hourly charge on labor you guys are absolutely rubbish.
Every process was taking a month at least to move forward. Doesn’t keep you up to date on things.

This is the first time I have used Jacobs and it will not be the last! Not only did they get be scheduled the next business day, they sent me Anthony who was AMAZINGLY helpful, knowledgeable and most of all honest. I thought my issue was something completely different and super expensive however within minutes he diagnosed the real issue. Anthony fixed it in minutes and only cost me a service call fee. SO AWESOME! We will be setting up routine maintenance!

Jacobs Technician Jef S provided maintenance on an older furnace that had unfortunately not had a filter replacement in quite some time. He was able to thoroughly clean the unit and was friendly and nonjudgmental when we pulled out the old filter. I appreciated his prompt service, his friendliness, the thoroughness of his work. So much so that I signed up for the signature club so that I can have Jacobs come out and service my other residence at a lower cost. Win - win!
