Jacobs installed my system 2006 and quality was average at best. I have stuck with them for bi yearly maintenance and the service gets worse and worse. When my thermostat failed I could never get a callback and emails were never answered. Today for a service request I could only get a recording and the recording said they would get back to me within 3 days. I am now looking for new company.

Jacobs Heating & Air Conditioning is a great business with quality work. I recommend them to every friend and family member.

I'm so tired of companies like this trying to take advantage and charging what they think they can get. I have a small piece of rubber at the end of a hose that needs replacing. After a $175 service call they quoted $1,200 to fix it. The entire humidifier unit new is $850. I've ordered the part online and will replace the part by undoing a few screws and save the $1,000 in labor they would have charged for the 10 minute job. I recommend Deluxe Heating can cooling any day.

I would strongly advise looking for a different company. We have been using Jacobs for many years, but they continue to fall short of meeting any resonable expectations time and time again. We have now been without heat for nearly a week on a unit that they installed and have maintained entirely. No urgency, no return calls, left on hold for close to 30 minutes only to find out they were canceling our appointmet and would need to reschedule. No accountability, no apologies and still no heat. Save yourself the hassle and find someone else.

Installers Walter & Diego were fabulous. They arrived on time and got to work installing my new furnace & A/C. They provided photos of the installed furnace (it's in the attic) and answered my questions about the A/C. They were very attentive to details such as neatly running the water drain. They cleaned up each day and at the end of the install provided detailed instructions to register the products.
It's never fun when your furnace breaks down and you have to replace the system. These guys were pros who eased my anxiety over having to make an unplanned emergency replacement. Thanks!

Robert is an exceptional Service Technician who went above and beyond to make my experience enjoyable and comfortable, and my furnace work perfectly. Thank you so much for all of your help.

Susan was great at helping me by explaining all the details of what was going on with my furnace. Thank you for your help.

Today, 4/7/2023 in Portland, Oregon, I was on a run outside and a driver in a Jacob's Heating and Air-conditioning vehicle catcalled me as they were driving by. This is unacceptable and disgusting behavior especially from someone who is out on the job. Makes me wonder how they'd act in my own home. If this is the behavior of who you employ, you can be sure I will never recommend nor use Jacob's Heating and Air-conditioning for any services.

Bryan D. was careful, professional and quick. He figured out why the furnace was blowing only cold air, got the part from his truck, fixed it and also did the regular maintenance visit while here. Thanks to Bryan, we are warm again!

We had a Carrier furnace installed when we bought this house in 2009. In Jan 2020, the motor broke. I had Jacobs and AAA come out to look at it. AAA gave me a quote to repair, but also noted that Carrier furnaces had a known issue with the heat exchange (there was a class action lawsuit) and recommended I consider replacing it. Because my furnace was not even 11 years old at that point, I rolled the dice and had Jacobs fix it rather than have AAA replace it. Well, it's Nov 2022 and the heat exchange broke. I paid $175 to have a tech come out and diagnose it in a couple minutes. He literally said he sees it all the time. I asked why it happened and he said "time". Nice guy, but I can tell he has some experience being the messenger of bad, costly news. He said he just does the diagnosis and that "they" would be letting me know the estimates. Over two weeks later and I've heard nothing. Keep in mind I have zero heat and a family.

I have already made up my mind to not spend another dime with Jacobs and their faulty furnaces. And will have AAA replace it with a brand that offers a 12 year warranty! And they can install next week and offered some space heaters. The real salt in my wound is that since Covid, the prices have skyrocketed so between spending the money to repair it and the increase in price on the new furnace, it's thousands more than if I had just replaced it in 2020. Live and learn. I hope this helps someone out there to avoid the mistakes I made. Please buy a furnace from someone who deals in more reliable products and doesn't just take your money so a technician can tell you what they already know... that their furnaces suck.

I have been a Jacob's comstomer for 9 years and I have been very satisfied with their work. I want to give Jake, the technitian who was here today, a big THANK YOU. My system had gone out over the weekend just before some of the coldest weather of the year. He diagnosed the problem and got it up and running. He noticed other issues while he was in the furnace compartment (my attic) and fixed them. It's nice to have heat again.

Thank you Jake and thank you, Jacobs.
