Today, John who is member of Jacobs came to check our air conditioner. John did everything he could to help our family have a cool summer. In addition, explanations were constantly added to help use the heating and air conditioning. I don't know how to thank John.

Jacob’s installed a new gas furnace and A/C for us . Their quote was a second bid . Mark the estimator who gave us the estimate was respectful, articulate and answered all our questions and needs. James the technician who installed the equipment was attentive, knowledgeable, kept us up to date with The progress of his work , explained what he had done at the end and cleaned up after himself very well. Everyone who came to our house from Jacob was mindful Of Covid precautions. The coordinators in the office Diana, Michelle and Melanie were efficient in setting up our appointments and in reminding us of them, helpful in clarifying the process and highly responsive to our needs. To sum up, we received superior prompt customer service from Jacob’s and great workmanship. We highly recommend this company and will refer them to friends.

I have a Carrier heat pump in my home that was installed by Jacobs and a Daikin mini split heat pump in a greenhouse that was installed poorly by another company and is now serviced by Jacobs. My experience with Jacobs is that service of equipment and maintenance are very good, but that the administration of the office is exceedingly poor. Whenever I have reason to call for service I am left on hold at a minimum for 10 minutes and up to 15 or 20 minutes EVERY SINGLE TIME I CALL WITHOUT EXCEPTION. Be prepared if you choose to buy from Jacobs.

Jacobs performed well on the job, did what they said they were going to do and with high competence. We are VERY happy so far with the multi-zoned system they retrofitted into our 3 story house and it has VASTLY improved the quality and effectiveness of the cooling on the VERY hot summer days we have experienced in 2021. The work was completed in mid-June JUST BEFORE the intense heat wave Portland experienced during the last week of June (whew). I highly recommend hiring them and would do so again if I needed to do this to a different home.

On the first few really hot days of the year my AC stopped working, but Jacob's was able to schedule me within a week! Bryan D was my technician, and was professional, courteous, quick and friendly! Turns out I had a blown part, but Bryan had one on hand and replaced it on the spot! I would highly recommend Jacob's for heating and AC.

Spent 34,000 on new heating and cooling system, it has never worked correctly, and they will not schedule people promptly to fix the thing. The AC system has gone down twice, the heating system has failed every winter. Unqualified Techs and rude service people in the office.
