Very impressed with the regular twice-yearly service that we have received over the past 4 years from Jacobs Heating & AC. By that standard, this week was still EXCEPTIONAL. They responded to a non-functioning AC within 24 hrs. The technician, Steve, was a standout: He arrived early, was friendly, thorough, and knowledgeable. The price charge was reasonable and we are totally delighted with Steve’s fine job.

My experience with Jacobs Heating was great from start to finish. I had three different estimates, and they came in the least expensive with all the discounts. Installer, Doug, was wonderful, he went out of his way to make sure everything was neat and tidy. Spent time going over how the filter worked and how best to maintain furnace. I very good experience!!

Rodney Dillard repaired our AC system by adding a necessary part, which a previous service technician had told us was 'in our future.' He efficiently replaced a pump and went over the system to make sure there wouldn't be any other problems. We were impressed with his professionalism and knowledge - and were particularly grateful that he spent some time with us discussing our furnace control panel. He saved us some money by coaxing a few more months of wear out of it. We signed on for the service contract based on his great service!

I lived in these apartments for 8 years. And the last 4 years have been straight misery. Seems as though EVERY SUMMER DURING THE HOTTEST TIMES THE A.C. DOES NOT WORK. This July 22 alone they’ve been out 3x and they leave without fixing anything! I’m 9 months pregnant, and like many others here have young children, and animals that suffer significantly. Cooling shelters aren’t a viable option for everyone especially for my disabled mother who also resides at this property. How do you leave the same job multiple times without fixing anything… seems like a pay scheme to get extra money for no work provided. I’m sure they get to go home to a cool environment, and can’t help their customers do the same smh…

My name is Bernhard Wolpert and we recently had a new furnace and A/C unit installed at 13424 NE Failing St. I wanted to say the installer did an excellent job. I apologize his name has currently slipped me (I am over 60, haha). But he worked very hard and did an excellent job. Thank you Bernhard and Laurie Wolpert

The installers and repair people are very nice and generous with their time while working at our house. They took extra time to explain what they're doing, how the system will work with our house, and were very courteous.
The office, on the other hand, is completely disorganized and rude. They will put you on hold repeatedly, make promises they cannot keep, and scold you for asking questions.
I fully understand they are underwater with the call volume they receive, but don't think I need to be the punching bag to relieve their stress.

Justin and Derron came to my house to replace my furnace and install a furnace. They both were very personable from the get go and took time to say hi to my new rescue dog. They worked quickly and efficiently and completed the job earlier than expected. They made sure everything was in good working order. Justin then went over important details of my new equipment. They cleaned everything up. Very nice guys that did great work.

Jacob's installed a ductless heating/AC mini-split for us. Their quote was accurate and detailed and the installation was very smooth and professional. I was impressed at how well the installation blends in to the house and how mindful they were. Every one of the workers and techs that came to our house were very carful and respectful, being careful to wear masks and being mindful of keeping distance and not touching things in the house that didn't need to be touched.

I would high recommend them and would use them again!

I got three separate bids from different HVAC companies. I hadn't decided whether to go with a heat pump or just an AC, and wanted to get a range of options. Jacobs was the third bid that I received, and they knocked it out of the park.

First off, they were practical. I have a gas furnace and was considering switching to electric. My install consultant from Jacobs made a strong case for why I didn't need more than an AC. Other consultants either didn't have an opinion or were pushing me to convert the whole system (which is a $10-15k project, no small dinner). This built my trust instantly.

Second off, they beat all the bids. Flat out. No negotiation, no BS. Just a good price that I knew was good because I'd received two other bids.

Third, they were organized. I mean, super organized. All permitting was done, all scheduling was prompt and simple, and everything got coordinated perfectly. I didn't have to lift a finger.

Finally, Doug -- my install guy -- was unbelievably good. Didn't dumb it down, but didn't make it needlessly complicated. Explained everything down to the minute details of the system. Was super friendly to our crazy 75-pound puppy. His work is flawless, too: clean, futureproofed, and thoughtful.

He was a courteous guy to boot. Explained our thermostat, reinforced that if we had any issues with anything to call him, gave us his card, took my credit card and bounced without leaving a trace. Perhaps the single best install / repair / contractor person I've ever worked with, and I've worked with several dozen.

Best of all, I love central air conditioning so much, and having a smart thermostat is a luxury I never thought I'd care enough about to love as much as I do. :P

I can't recommend Jacobs highly enough. I literally never write Google reviews unless asked, and I just was bored enough to spend 20 minutes writing this because I was thinking about how awesome Jacobs is.

We have had furnace issues for MONTHS and they have yet to fix it. We waited two weeks for an appointment and they showed up without the ONE thing they needed (a new thermostat). So they left without even coming to the door and canceled the appointment. Waited another few weeks. Now today they stopped by and don't fix it yet again because they can't "recreate the issue" even though I've told them over the phone exactly what the issue seems to be and they are convinced that it's something else.
Here's a thought: How about I call you the next time the furnace isn't working at 0500 in the morning and the house is 59 degrees? Maybe you can come out then? And see how it's not working? I mean, you do brag about having "Service Technicians are on call 24/7". How do you get that service? I've never had to wait anything less than 7 days to get you to show up and not do anything!
