My LG side by side fridge stopped working after 5 yrs and 7 months, right when the cooling warranty was over, called around not many companies wanted or could work on LG replacing the compressor, when I reached out to Conrad HVAC right away Tech told me he has the updated compressor on hand and he was well aware of the issue with LG fridge with faulty compressor, 2 days later he came and replaced the compressor, updated the software, new filter and freon.
