Northern Tool + Equipment

I know I showed up 15 minutes before closing time to purchase the $400 dollar tool that I called ahead to make sure they had but I never expected to be treated so poorly. I knew I was in trouble when I walked in the door and instead of welcoming me the manager informed me they were closing in 10 minutes. He continued to be rude. I didn’t buy the brushless impact at northern tool that day and I will never walk through those doors again

Dropped of a saw and generator for repairs, which I bought both from this store on 240 and Penn along with thousands of dollars in other purchases. After a week with no call I called today to wait on hold for 30 minutes at 10am and finally hung up and called back and was told the service tech was at lunch. I need this guys job, he’s never there and when he is he takes lunch at 10am and off at 2:30. Not happy at all and will take my business else where from now on

Ordered a welder to be shipped to the store. Store neglected to tell me there was a 15 dollar shipping fee to their store that I would have to pay. 15 business days later they sent e check in the mail for my refund. I got the check from Minnesota 2 weeks later. But i paid cash in the store. Still no welder.

I went in last week and Adrian, the cashier, did a superb job at pointing me in the right direction to what I needed. Adrian was a very helping gentleman and deserves a pat on the back. Will be returning, thank you, Adrian!

Really liked the selection and reasonable prices. Customer service is lacking however. We was offered help the whole time in the store. If customer service had been better I would have given five stars.

I had needed to cut chords of wood for our wood stove but my chainsaw wouldn't start. Ran over to your store to see what kind of sparkplugs you all had there. It didn't take that long to find what I needed with the help of Aaron. I told him my problem and he squared it away. I was back, ready to warm up my family and my home. Thanks Aaron, from Northern Tool.

Do not buy from this company if you want your tools to last and your warranty to be covered or tools to be worked on in a timely manner! We spent over $600 on a new air compressor for it to break down! We take it in to get it fixed and 4 months later we are still getting the run around that the part hasn’t came in yet to fix it! 4 months!!! We run a construction business and this is not acceptable. Do not waste your time!

Bought a generator due to power outage. Derek went above and beyond to help me. I am so thankful for the exceptional custimer service. In fact, what Derek did went way beyond any general expectations. He said he wanted to be comfortable in knowing when i get home, I will know basics.of how to operate the generator. Derek showed me the basics and explained everything, wheeled it to my car and loaded it for me. Im still in awe at the level of service I received. Thank you Derek. You are literally our hero. Thank you Northern Tools for making my 1st experience as a customer so special.

I will definitely not be back to this horrible place the two cells ladies Julie and Amber they are horrible at helping customers they try to sell you extra warranties extra protection that you don't really need extra parts they tried to sell me a 31 gallon pressure washer when I only needed the 16 gallon and they tried to convince me that I should purchase the warranty because you never know what could happen to the product because they get a lot of returns on the products so my advice to you is to not go in the store and speak to them because they are both liars..

Love this store and the helpful people that work there.
