They completely misdiagnosed the problem. Told me I needed a new blower motor for my furnace. After getting a second quote, I found out it was the control board that was bad, and the blower motor was still working fine.
Plus they way overpriced the repair. Quoted more than $1100. The part costs $140, OEM from the manufacturer. When I called the office to ask why it was so expensive, they told me it was about 2 hours of labor, but they have mark ups because of insurance, and trucks, and stuff. Yeah, that's called overhead. Every business has it.
When I complained and told them about the misdiagnosis, they said that not only did the tech misdiagnose the problem, but he also quoted the price for the wrong model blower motor. Their response to my complaint ended with them telling me that they were "offended" by my complaint and that they do not want me as a customer. Not a problem.
The motor on my unit went out and Columbus Comfort went out of their way to replace the motor quickly as well as made sure it was still under warranty which saved me a lot of money. While they were out they even adjusted my other unit to make it work more efficient. I will definitely be using Columbus Comfort for all of my service calls as well as my regular maintanence.
Columbus Comfort installed a new furnace and air conditioner in my home last week. All the techs were very polite especially Austin and Zach. My basement was cleaner after they left than when they arrived. Would give them an A+ and recommend them to anyone who asks.
The owner contacted me within minutes of asking for a quote and his te Haitians came out within an hour. Great technicians. Friendly and professional. I will.definitely use them again!
These guys and this company are unbelievably fair, honest, and dependable! They were quick and efficient! I highly recommend them above all Other companies for any heating and cooling or water tank concerns... their prices are very reasonable in comparison to all the other companies I priced. It’s great to find a company like this that does excellent work at a reasonable price! Five stars for sure !!!!
I have always used Columbus Comfort for service and their installation and product lines for new equipment was just as impressive. My 18 year old A/C sysyem needed replaced and the process installing my new York system was so professional and we'll done. Great team.

We have used them with our home as well as rental properties we have. This is not our first experience like this with Columbus Comfort and it will certainly not be our last. Where other companies quoted us $$$ to do a lot of work--this crew was honest and fixed our damper issue in 5 minutes. Will definitely be using in the future when we need a bigger project completed.
Had an issue with my heater and the first time they came out, they changed the thermostat. It took longer than expected and the owner made it right by not charging for instal or time. The following day the heater still wasn't functioning properly so the owner came out within 3 hours and solved the problem, fixed it, and did not charge anything! This is quality customer service from a quality company. I wouldnt call anyone else.
Tim was fast to respond and great to work with. He gave us fast and accurate service and treated us like family. He fixed out air without over charging us. We would recommend him to all of our friends
