Service Technician was very knowledgeable. Explained what exactly he would be doing and answered all our questions before he started and after he was done. Very professional. Have had dealings with a couple SH&C employees and they are all knowledgeable and professional. Would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

I used Sears Heating and Cooling in the past to get the downstairs furnace repaired during winter last year. This summer I noticed that the temperature upstairs is getting extremely cold but downstairs temperature stays higher than desired. So I called them again to check it out. Upon inspection the repair person discovered that the root cause behind inconsistent temperature is an incorrect wiring of the circuit board done by the previous repair person from Sears Heating and Cooling. Additionally he had to replace a capacitor in the condenser which stays outside the house. I was charged $533.00 for a part costing $50.00 max. I have a feeling that this capacitor might have been burnt out because of the incorrect wiring. In my opinion I should not have been charged any money this time and Sears should have sent me a written apology for their incompetent repair work last year.

I have no complaints about Joshua, the repair technician who performed the A/C repair work this time. He is very professional, customer friendly and knowledgeable person. My dissatisfaction is with the organization and I think they did not live up to their reputation this time. I value the reputation of companies I use in getting my work done and the peace of mind is very important to me.

When my furnace wouldn't start just as temps turned cold, I was afraid I might have to wait a week or more for service, but SHC offered to schedule an inspection for that afternoon and was able to locate the needed part locally to complete the job the next day. Robby was very courteous and professional, and kept me advised of the status so I'd know what to expect.

Austin was courteous and prompt. He was professional, wore shoe protectors and left the area clean. Sears has a system where they know what services were completed in the past on our HVAC equipment, and we are apprised regularly about how the equipment is working. We appreciate this service from Sears.

We had an AC unit installed a few weeks ago. The first workers were respectful and worked quick, however, not everything was set up correctly so it wasn’t working. We had called to have someone come and inspect and they were knowledgeable and helpful and scheduled someone to come the next day.
Josh was the technician who repaired everything. He spent over two hours fixing all of the issues and the AC works wonderfully now.
Josh was incredibly polite and knowledgeable with the issues. He worked quickly and considerately of our space.
We really appreciated having Josh work on our AC setup as he was professional and trustworthy and great at his job. We hope that Josh is as appreciated by his coworkers and supervisors!

Yearly maintenance for my AC system before the weather gets hot. The service technician Josh was very friendly and knowledgeable about the service that would need to be done. He has been servicing our furnace and AC for a few years now, and always does a great job. He even remembers my dog's name and has a treat for her. I'm so glad I chose Sears Heating and Cooling from all the other HVAC service providers out there!

I met with Jamie on Wednesday to get a quote for furnace + AC replacement and I was put on the schedule for Friday of the same week. Joe & Dylan showed up Friday morning at 8 AM to do the install. After removing the old furnace and installing the air cleaner, Joe discovered the V coil was too big for the space (utility closet). He got on the phone, had an N coil tracked down and delivered within the hour. Joe was extremely friendly & professional. He even redid the plumbing / drain pipe so it was off the floor and installed an automatic shut off valve so I didn’t have to worry about the AC drain pipe backing up and flooding my first floor again. While doing the install Joe received several calls from other technicians seeking advice which didn’t phase him at all … he is definitely a master at his craft + multitasking! They were even out of here an hour earlier than initially expected. I would definitely recommend Sears Heating & Cool + Joe!
