Our furnace gave out yesterday and we called Sears heating and cooling because we use them for heating and cooling maintenance and we trust them. They got us set up right away. Trey was at the house this morning at 9:30am to replace our furnace. We were really impressed with the fast service. He was very professional and answered all our questions. He was very courteous and personable. We will continue to use this company for any heating and cooling issues we might have in the future. We strongly recommend them.
Wally was professional, friendly and efficient. And he taught me a few things about my heating system, providing good tips on purchasing filters and humidifiers. I really appreciate SHC after many years on their maintenance program.

Super solid company. Called them at 2am due to AC being out. They called me first thing in the morning when their technicians started working and gave me an estimated time of arrival of 1 hour. Technician showed up 55 minutes after that call.
Technician was super knowledgeable and willing to share information on what went wrong this time, what the fix was, why the fix was necessary, maintenance best practices, and the whole system audit that was performed after the fix.
Will be signing up to Sears twice annual maintenance program, highly recommend!
Have always had great service from Sears Heating & Cooling no matter who comes for service. Replaced my Heat and AC system about 10 years ago Was pleased then and continue to be pleased to this day. Today was just my normal service check done by Wally T. (Also visited us earlier this year) He is such a nice and pleasant person. He is thorough and does a good job for us! He is able to answer any questions I ask of him, his answers seem to be honest and sincere. We are in good hands with Wally. Always glad to see him return and look forward to his visit next spring!
Was knowledgeable about HVAC and his job. Answered questions while doing his job, even though the home owner was just being nosy and was respectful while doing it. As an engineer myself I like to ask questions beyond the scope of his service to keep informed. He did an excellent job.
This company is a racket. They will take advantage of your situation and charge you ridiculous amount for smallest repairs, they make it look like they are giving you options but the lowest option is a ridiculously high amount. They assume you dont know anything. My furnace stopped working in freezing temp so I called them and the guy who came quoted me a $936 for replacing inducer motor which I later check for my cheap furnace was only between $130 to $188 from different vendors. I get that they can charge for labor and comming out in cold but even with that it shouldnt have been more than 400 at most. I talked to the lady at the office to give me breakdown of charges and they wont even do that. That tells you how big of a scam and racket they are. And they take advantage of your situation knowing it's cold and it's not possible for some people (without risking pipe busts or kids freezing) to call around to get quotes after waiting on their person to come. Save yourself, there are tons of heating cooling companies, go with them. I will log a complaint on them at BBB too.

From the beginning of the process with a service technician coming out to diagnose the issue the day I called, a same day estimate, and furnace installation 2 days later (per my choice, next day was available), everyone I interacted with was friendly, respectful, knowledgeable, and exactly what I was hoping to find in a local company. This is a down to earth and straightforward company you want to work with when something goes wrong. One of the owners, Jamie, was even the person who came out to give us an estimate.
As a first time home owner going through the first winter in our home, having to replace a furnace was a big blow, and overwhelming. Everyone took the time to answer my *many* questions in depth, and twice if I wasn't understanding the first time. We have a dog, and the first day of this I was working from home, so there was a lot happening. A huge thank you to Wally for giving me time to finish up a meeting before we talked about the furnace, can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate that!! Additionally, the available financing options have been a huge help in making this decision, and purchase, as easy as possible.
Aaron, Wally, Jamie, Carly, Joe, and Trey thank you all very much for your help and time! We're looking forward to spending the rest of the winter warm and cozy. I will definitely recommend Sears Heating & Cooling to friends, family, and colleagues in the future.
