I hired Columbus Worthington Air to install a new furnace mid-winter. At first, all seemed to have gone well. Come summer, my tenants turn to AC on for the first time and it didn’t work. The furnace install included replacement of the thermostat and thermostat wire, and as it seemed from the tenants description no power was getting to the unit I called Columbus Worthington Air to come out and check their work, which they did. They called me back and told me they made no mistakes and asked for $500 to “diagnosis” what was wrong. Instead, I went out to the property and found their “mistake” in less than 10 minutes and fixed it. Apparently, the installers had capped one of the hot wires to the AC without connecting the wires. As they would have had to hold and visually look directly at this wire to cap it, then somehow missed this obvious mistake on re-inspection which was easily detected with a multimeter, I can only assume this was done intentionally in hopes of getting more business from me. If it would have cost them $500 to find this “mistake” and I, a lay person, a random homeowner, was able to identify and correct it better than they could, I feel they owe me the $500 they wanted to extort from me. The company still claims they were unaware and it was an accident, but they haven’t offered any reimbursement for the work I did to correct their workmanship. I would not recommend this company because of their dishonest business practices. Included is a photo of what the company tried to hide with a wire nut. It may seem like a small mistake- but if I hadn’t double checked their claim, I may have ended up giving this company $500 to fix their own mistake!!! Or worse yet, opted to let them replace the entire unit for thousands of dollars.

Pretty satisfied about the services I received for the most part. Lee helped diagnose the issue for my AC and was very helpful and personable. I requested a quote and Ryan was able to stop by the same day and was very patient with me while I contemplated all of my options and was empathetic about my situation. 2 days later Ba and Alan stopped by and did great installing my new thermostat, AC unit, and furnace. This company has a great team of technicians. I only wish Denise from the accounting dept was a little more patient with me and did not use a condescending tone with me or verbiage. Other than that, I’m pleased.

From the time I called the first Service Tech, Evan, to having a new Furnace installed, took 3 days. Our Sales Tech, Mike, was friendly and helpful. He took the time to discuss our options, and addresses any concerns. The service crew, came to work. They removed everything from the house and cleaned up when finished. Their lead tech is good. Explained how the system worked, the controls, the maintenance. All around a pleasure to work with. My new system works great! The air feels great, the humidity and dust control were two options Ive wanted for a while.

My initial visit was done by a guy named Delonte Rivers. This guy was awesome. He carried himself well, he was very professional the entire time. He was very informative and made me and wife comfortable to understand what he was explaining. He got straight to the point, he didn’t make us feel like he was pushing us to buy anything, he just guided us by showing what we needed and gave us our options. Installation went great also. We signed up for the next day installation, The guys were on time and didn’t their work in a timely manner. Everything was neat and buttoned up. Only negative is shoe covers, defeats the purpose if you wear your shoes outside. Other than that 100% recommend.

I called SUPER early in the morning and the customer service rep was amazingly professional and helpful. We got an appointment right away and had someone out to the house within 4 hours. Michael was really patient with me while I asked about a trillion questions and had our unit working in no time. I would recommend this company to everyone!
