From start to finish, our experience with Verne & Ellsworth Hann has been five star worthy. We were in need of both an AC and furnace replacement, and after receiving estimates from multiple businesses, we knew we wanted to trust Verne & Ellsworth. Tim was wonderful to work with during the proposal stage of the process. He took the time to answer all of our questions, and he was extremely knowledgeable about the installation process and equipment. We appreciated that his expertise went beyond just sales! Tony, the project manager, was wonderful enough to contact me as soon as an opening was available so that we could get the equipment installed sooner than initially scheduled. I was most impressed with the installers, Greg and Sean, who went above and beyond! They worked tirelessly for 2 days, and they were professional, kind, and explained everything to me once the installation was completed. The best part is that there was no mess after they finished! I couldn’t believe how clean and organized their work area was even after day 1/2 of the project. I just assume that I’ll always have a mess to clean up after having any kind of work done in the house, and it meant a lot to me that they took extra care to respect our home. We absolutely recommended Verne & Ellsworth, you won’t regret it!

We had a great experience with an installation of an air conditioning system in our quirky hundred year old home. Tim came out to give us an estimate, took our needs seriously, and did a thorough job measuring our spaces and crafting a plan. He even called in Bill to address some of the stranger features of our house so we all felt confident in the estimate. Other reputable companies had given us quotes, but were very fuzzy on the details.

The installation team was fantastic. Greg G., Sean M., and Sean B. were incredibly professional, courteous, easy to communicate with, and tidy--in a nearly 3 week install with lots of holes being made, we never had to clean up after anyone. The three of them were in and out like clockwork 8-4, and truly as unobtrusive as people completing an extensive house project could be. They even worked to avoid disturbing our baby's naps! We couldn't recommend this team more highly.

Bryan replaced kitchen faucet supply line valves. The kitchen hot water had flecks of black debris. Online, I read that old supply valves or an old faucet could be the problem. The black specks persisted after the valves were replaced, so Bryan checked the faucet, taking off the faucet head from the flexible neck. Inside the faucet head was a pocket of black debris. I didn't know that the sprayer head unscrewed from the hose. Now, our hot water is clear, thanks to our plumber's persistence.

Such a reliable company. They gave me a fair quote over a year ago. I waited, and when my boiler broke I reached out to the owner. He remembered who I was and remembered details about our conversation. He responded very quickly and me on the schedule within a few weeks. The service team that came over worked two full days. They were prompt, professional, and worked so hard. I would recommend them to anyone! Special shout out to Bill, Matt and the whole install team

Bill R. , Adam, and Graham did a full boiler replacement and they went above and beyond! All three were incredibly professional, kind, and hard working. They showed up on time, got the job done efficiently, and spent time explaining what to expect with the new unit and everything that was done. The company as a whole is trustworthy and I highly recommend for both heating and AC work (I use them for both).

The installers were super friendly, clean, and professional. We have an older house so there were a lot of things to figure out and decisions to make when installing A/C, and we always felt we understood all the steps happening and options available.

For having so many people all over the house for such an extended period (3 weeks), it all felt very easy. We also appreciated the incredibly consistent 8-4 schedule every day - that was so helpful in managing our dogs and everything else.

Everyone in the office has been great, too. They also handled all the permitting and communication with the city. Honestly from the first meeting at our house until the end installation, it's been amazing. I couldn't imagine a project like this could go so smoothly.

Overall, we could not have been more impressed and will always recommend this company to anyone and everyone.

As a first time homeowner and the first time I've had to replace a major system in my home, Verne Ellsworth & Hann were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They came on time, got a fairly large job done in just 3 days and continued answering my questions even as they were working. I could not have asked for a better experience! I would highly recommend this company.

Our boiler completely died while we were on vacation in January. As soon as we got back home, VEH was very quick to assess the situation. They were able to secure (2) new smaller boilers and promptly scheduled the installation when the boilers arrived. The installation crew was great!

We experienced a broken furnace in January at one of our rental houses. After unsuccessfully trying to get quotes from other companies we called Verne & Ellsworth Hann Inc. They gave us a quote the first day and the entire job was completed within 4 days. The new Bryant furnace that replaced the 70 year old monster that was in there is keeping our tenants nice and warm and cutting down on their heating costs as well. I cant say enough about their professionalism and service!

I am very happy with my service from VEH. We had two AC units installed at a duplex property that previously did not have central air. Kevin came to make the estimate and walk me through what the work would entail. I am a new homeowner so there is a lot to learn and Kevin was happy to thoroughly explain how the installed system would work to me which made me comfortable.

I got 5 estimates from large competitors and even local contractors, but VEH came with the best numbers. They offered us an out of season install discount and they had great financing options!

I do wish there was more information and communications after we accepted their quote, though. There was clear communication on setting up the financing account, but I had to call twice to find out what the next steps were and when I would expect to get the job scheduled. Once they were available to put me on the schedule, they were able to start the next week. I’d say that it was very quick to schedule once they did, but there was a delay in reaching out to me to get it done in the first place.

When it came time for VEH to install, it was a two day job. They were very prompt (knocking at my door the minute they said they would arrive) and did not disturb the house. This was important because we both work from home and are on calls throughout the day. When the work was complete, I got another walkthrough of the install, how the equipment works, and how to maintain it annually.
