I have been a customer for a number of years and have never been disappointed with the respectful care I have received concerning the work completed at my home. From maintenance, to quote delivery, to installation, and follow-up every part and everyone at V&EH Inc is kind, thoughtful, and works with integrity.

I used Verne & Ellsworth Hann to install a mini split system to heat and cool my finished attic. My experience with them exceeded my expectations, and everyone I worked with was fantastic. Kevin stopped by first to provide an estimate. He was very knowledgeable and provided quotes for several options to help me make the best choice. A couple weeks later, Barry and Jayson installed the new system. They worked super efficiently, their work was clean, and they were very respectful of my home. I even overheard high praise from the city inspector for their work. My new system is working great, and I’m very happy with my decision to go with Verne and Ellsworth Hann. I highly recommend and I will definitely use them again in the future.

V&EH set up a prompt appointment when the heating went out at my home. The text messages, and photos, to let me know the technician (Ray) was on the way are incredibly helpful. Ray diagnosed the issue and got the system running within a few hours. He showed me where the issue occurred and what was replaced. Also, Ray inspected other parts of the HVAC system and provided me with recommendations for other work.

I’ve used VEHann for my heating and plumbing for years. They are always professional knowledgeable and friendly. Joe came first thing and was done in less than an hour. He also made suggestions about cost saving modifications I could make down the road. Thanks Joe!

Verne and Ellsworth Hann are definitely worth checking out. My furnace died, and my AC was very old. Working with Chris was a pleasant and straightforward person to work with. He immediately realized that the unit was too big and to reduce the cost of gas and electricity, he suggested going for a smaller size. I anticipated it would take some time, however they were able to schedule the installation quickly. The installation crew was outstanding, diligent, and professional, arrived on time, communicated well (to me that is a plus). Every time I went to check on their progress during the day, I was amazed by how much they were accomplishing. They would also ask if I had any other questions. Nothing was left behind when they left but a brand-new heating and cooling system and a very content customer.

Joe, Keith, Adam, Matt, Graham, and Bill R. were in my house for two days, replacing an old boiler and a thermostat, and taking a look at my radiators. They were effective and helpful in every way, and made sure I understood how the system works, before leaving. I really appreciate their work.

Really got us out of a bind. Completely replaced all of the plumbing - supply, drains, and waste - in one of our bathrooms. The shower had been leaking and was unusable, the pipes were 100 years old and half rotten. They were done in just over 2 days, worked in incredibly small access spaces, and installed our new in wall faucet for us even though the job only quoted roughing in the plumbing for the sink. The guys that came were very like-able, honest, clean, and kind.

I woke up to no heat. An appointment made for noon, the same day. Alan showed up, quickly identified the problem and re-established heat. Because my furnace is over 20 years old, Alan suggested I might want to get a quote for a new furnace. Fifty percent of my repair charge would be applied to purchase of a new unit. This is the second time I’ve used Vern & Ellsworth Hann. Both experiences were flawless from my initial call to completion of the project. Here we are, a couple weeks since my last review. Verne and Ellsworth Hann just replaced my gas furnace and gas water heater. Notch another 5 star review in the books!! Once again everything about this project was flawless. Communication is helpful and timely. I wish I could remember the names of everyone in the office, who helped me. They all have been wonderful. Karen, Nancy and Patricia I believe.

My Project Manager, Kevin, was perfect to work with. He presented me with several options while clearly explaining pros, cons and costs of each. He followed up, 30 minutes after the job was done, to make sure we were happy. Our installers, Barry and Jayson were great, The made sure we were without heat and hot water for a minimal amount of time. They kept us informed during all aspects of the installation. The explained everything they did upon completion of the job and patiently fielded our questions. But best of all, they threw the ball for our dog every time the had to go to their truck.

Where do I begin! If you need a HVAC system or repairs you need to call VERNE & ELLSWORTH HANN INC. They are AMAZING!! I live in Richmond, Va. and although they didn't put a system in my home they did put one in my parents home. We had four different companies to give quotes on replacing the AC and furnace in my parents home. Although, VEH wasn't the lowest in price they were the BEST! I have learned that "cheaper" isn't always better and you pay for what you get! They were the ONLY company that mentioned replacing the "old" duct work. All the other companies were just replacing the units and still using all the existing old duct work not to mention my mom's "old duct work" was 40+ years old!! Bill ( one of the owners) came out to give my mom a quote on her system, I loved that because you were not dealing with some sales rep. you had the owner himself and that spoke volume to me. He was prompt, professional, there was no pressure selling and he was HONEST! With me living in Virginia 350 miles away it sure felt good knowing my parents were in great hands! Bill kept me updated every single step of the way. He emailed or called me to let me know what would be taking place next. The crew was spotless they cleaned up so well you couldn't even tell that they had been there. I don't think my parents basement floor has ever been that clean! :) The HVAC technicians were knowledgeable and very nice. Bill told me it would take two days and they finished right on time. First impressions mean a lot and they are usually deal breakers for me. VERNE & ELLSWORTH HANN left an everlasting impression. My mom is happy and that makes me an even happier customer here in Virginia. I posted some pictures of the before and after. My hot water tank failed on a weekend evening, and they were able to help me over the phone on the evening it occurred, with help of pictures they had of my set-up (benefits of a long-standing relationship), and then add that repair to the appointment I already had scheduled for HVAC tune-up the following Monday. On Tuesday, it was all done. They had to replace the tank, but saved expense of replacing the still new concentrator.
