I would give 10 stars if I could. Dustin was professional and very informative on everything he did with the service. Our well went out and he helped us find the best solution for us now and for the future as well. The problem was assessed and fixed in such a timely manner. I appreciate everything Dustin and Ultimate Plumbing did for my home and family. Will totally recommend to anyone needing services done!

Ultimate Plumbing is AMAZING! We were looking to install a water softening system and charcoal filtration system, and we found Ultimate Plumbing on the Mooresville Facebook page when searching through recommended plumbers. Literally, every comment said their name! They were extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They didn’t try to up sell us on anything, in fact, they told us we didn’t need as much of a filtration system as we were looking for (which was more money). They worked with our budget and schedule, and from the day of the estimate, to ordering the system, to install, took less than a week! They came back for a one month water test and system check to make sure all was well. Joe, Mary Jane, Dustin, EVERYONE, was so helpful, timely, friendly and knowledgeable, and I would HIGHLY recommend Ultimate Plumbing! 100%! If I could give them 500 stars, I would. These guys were great. Lost almost all water pressure in the house. They came out the same day to diagnose the issue. They found the problem quickly and gave me options. They were able to make the repairs the same day and now my water pressure is better than it was before. Thanks Ultimate Plumbing!!!

Home Depot installed a stove for my mom, caused a gas leak and left my mom without a stove for 13 days. I called ultimate plumbing early in the morning, they had a cancellation and were able to be at my moms house within 30 minutes. The service techs showed up on time, explained everything they needed to do and fixed the problem within minutes. They were as courteous as they were professional, and that was exactly what we needed after fighting with home depot for so many days. I just want you guys to know that your timing, service and know-how put my mind at ease as I knew the gas leak was fixed and I no longer had to be concerned about my moms safety. Thank you.

My wife called me on a Friday at work to tell me that our water heater was leaking water in to the garage. Being that it was Friday, the weekend was coming and there was a sense of urgency in my wife’s voice, I looked quickly to find a plumber who could replace our water heater the same day. I found Ultimate Plumbing on Google and they seemed to have reasonably good reviews. I called them and they came out to our house. I should note that Ultimate Plumbing (UP) and our house are both located in Mooresville NC less than 5 miles from each other.
I spoke to Drew on the phone. He was at my house and I was at work. In my mind, I’m thinking that they are a respected plumbing company with decent reviews and I need a water heater NOW. I told them to go ahead.
When I got the final invoice they charged me a total of $3605.30 (not including tax). I asked UP to give me an itemized invoice to show the cost of the water heater and the labor for installation. They said they “don’t do that”. I found this odd. So I called around to find out that there are several plumbers in my area that would have done the job, including installation the same day for $2200.00 (I have the quote in writing). I also called Ferguson Plumbing Supply in Mooresville to get a price on a comparable Rheem water heater. They quoted me $1076.53 (this is for the water heater only). Anyone can find the identical Bradford White water heater (the one installed in our house) online with FREE shipping for between $1660 and $1830.
My point is that Ultimate Plumbing gouged us on price. If I take their price of $3605.30 and subtract $1800 for a water heater, UP charged me $1805.30 for labor. I’m told that labor for such a job as mine (relatively simple – in a garage, direct venting, no extra pipes) should be between $400 and $600. Ultimate Plumbing took advantage of us and overcharged us by at least $1000.00. This is not my opinion only. I have spoken to different qualified people and they all say I was “robbed”.
It is my opinion that Ultimate Plumbing is gouging their customers. I have written directly to the owner of Ultimate Plumbing. I am waiting for his reply.

We had them install a new hot water heater. 9 months later it broke. After fighting with them, they replaced it with a new (smaller) one. 11 months later that one broke! They say it’s no longer under warranty and want us to pay before someone even comes to our house! They said it sounds faulty but said we will have to purchase a new one! We just bought a new one 14 months ago!!! 3 hot water heaters in 14 months?! Stop using faulty products! Save your money! Don’t use this company!

Had a great customer service experience- they dispatched someone within an hour and when JJ showed up it was clear he was knowledgeable and professional. He went out of his way to try to diagnose a water spot before cutting into a wall and was thorough in explaining what was going on, which turned out to be an unsealed laundry vent. Very pleasant and personable, I wont call anyone else going forward!
