DO NOT CALL THEM!!! This company is extremely unprofessional and has now taken over a month, including Christmas and New Years, to come replace a part on our heater. It’s a part they had to order, however they continue to claim they have no tracking ID and no way of telling us when it’ll come in. We have called relentlessly and still, no answers. I live with an 104 and 98 year old and the lack of heat in 20* degree weather has hurt us all. I cannot describe how cold it is. They offer no temporary solutions besides just waiting for the new heater.

Edit: someone from Berico finally, after about 2 months of no heat during the coldest weeks of this winter, advocated for my family to be able to get a new furnace so I added a star and thought this notable. I still remain confused as to why they never offered us any space heaters or a new furnace sooner.

The heating system install team and propane install team were amazing! They were so helpful, communicated consistently, loaned us heaters when they saw the temperatures were getting very cold and we would not have heat for several days. They listened when we had questions and worked hard to get us answers.
I would have given this project 5 STARS but there were a few hiccups in our heating system install process. I was told, by the sales person, that it was a two day turn around for our system to be installed and we would have heat - not true. The timeline was important to us due the the upcoming changing winter temperatures. There are many other important steps that he failed to mention (a few examples: the city inspector must be scheduled to come before the system is approved for use, 811 must scheduled come to determine if digging is approved for the gas lines, you must be home when they come and they don't always tell you when they are coming). We were without a heating system for nearly two weeks. The project took right at three weeks from beginning to end. I would have been fine with timeline had the sales person not painted a different picture in the beginning.
My family has used Berico for well over 20 years for oil heating. We are now beginning a new phase with propane/gas heating. I am looking forward to working with the for many more years to come.

Berico really is the best. They are the best propane company I have ever dealt with. I got out of my terrible deal with Amerigas and have never been happier. Service on time. Good prices. Can’t beat it.

Our church had an issue with Fellowship Hall heating system with upcoming banquet in the next 5 days. Berrico was called and sent a tech out within hours of our call. Anthony Thatch diagnosed the problem and ordered parts needed. A former HVAC company had been servicing the unit, 2 weeks prior.
Anthony called said parts were in and repaired the unit. Before it only heated to 51 today it is at 68, might I add 3 days before the banquet!!!
Berrrico has been our propane supplier for well over 20yrs and has always been very responsive to our needs!!!

I do not recommend this company. We had to call the Fire Department to turn off our gas logs after they installed a faulty switch/remote. The tech had no idea what he was doing. That is not just my opinion; I overheard him calling his boss to say he didn't know what he was doing. And having to call the Fire Department is a fact, on public record.

Berico repaired a 1 foot section of underground tubing that runs from the tank to the house. The repair was accomplished quickly and the leak was repaired. The reason for the 3 star rating is because of the technique of the repair. The section that was leaking was about 8" in length and the repair section was cut too long (approx 12"). I asked the technician if it was too long and he said it was ok. To make it fit an awkward bend was needed in the regulator tubing to allow for the extra 4" of tubing. Also when tightening the fittings the tube actually twisted. As a retired aircraft mechanic this would be unacceptable on an aircraft but I guess it's ok for underground propane tubing. The bottom line is the leak is fixed, until that twisted or kinked tubing starts leaking in a few years.

Instead of installing a thermocouple, the mechanic broke the starter system. Salesman refused to quote a new room propane gasheater. Salesman promissed but did not deliver a quote for a whole house heating system. Overall servive value: pittiful. cb

All the guys at Berico are awesome. From the person answering the phone to the service techs they are solid and awesome. Everyone has a great attitude. I won’t use anyone else.

Berico installed our new units about 5 years ago. We've been on their semi annually check up service ever since. They have always been professional and considerate of our time and also safety. Precautions were implemented and followed during the worst of covid without us having to ask them to "mask up". I felt comfortable with them then and still do today now that we've returned to better times. They do a great job and are honest. They've never told us we have a problem over the 10 visits of servicing these units, but have made suggestions on how certain outside warranty services could help the performance and longevity of our units, much like someone at an honest car garage would do. I really couldn't be happier with Berico.
