John K was our technician for our winter checkup. John was very thorough and pointed out the issues he found. He did discuss the service plan with us, but we decided not to enroll at this time. We are very appreciative of having an honest, straight forward review of our heating unit. It is nice to know you can count on a company that will not try to convince you that repairs needed. Very impressed with R & S Mechanical.

Had complete, 2 unit "York" system, installed 3 years ago. I couldn't be more please with service after the sale. They do a complete checkup 2 times a year. New system 50% more efficient than the o. e. junk that came with the new house in 2006. These guys are thorough.

I initially called R & S to get a bid on a new HVAC system because another company said ours was needing expensive repairs. R & S Mechanical's salesperson questioned if a new HVAC was even necessary after hearing my suspicions concerning the legitimacy of the other company's claims. Since we were putting our house up for sale & wanted to be sure everything was in working order, I decided to have R & S's technician to do an "audit" on our system for $116. He found that our HVAC was perfectly fine except for 1 problem that he rather easily fixed while he was there. We have a nice readout with pictures showing the status of our HVAC. Potential house buyers will be able to see what they're getting and R & S saved us thousands of dollars. I highly recommend them for seasonal tune-ups, repairs, HVAC replacement or an "audit" like we got. Very reputable, family owned business. Thank you, Jeff and Curtis, for all your help!

My tech Tracy was knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem quickly. He priced the repair for me based on with and without their maintenance service, explaining without pressure sale. Tracy answered all of my questions and made the repair with good results for room cooling well when he left. No one likes needing home repairs, but it’s good to have a problem explained well.

I just had my first meeting with R&S Mechanical through Justin and it went very well. Brittany answered my initial phone call to set up a maintenance plan and originally I was just calling to get quotes and decide later but before we hung up, she told me about their specials and was friendly so I decided to make an appointment right then, even after talking to multiple other companies. Scheduling was easy and accommodated my schedule.
Justin came out on time and I got a phone call in advance. He was very friendly and personable. He explained everything he was doing, showed me what he was working on, and showed me pictures of the problem spots which was all appreciated and very beneficial. He was friendly and professional the entire time and worked diligently on my system and provided practical, no-pressure recommendations when necessary. I also got a follow-up call from Jim checking to see how the visit this morning went which was nice. They definitely want to make sure you're satisfied.
Looking forward to my next check-up in the fall.

My experience with Comfort Guy/R and S Mechanical has been nothing short of excellent! The professionalism and the caring taken to attend to every detail of an issue is observed every time they come. The maintenance plan is well priced, includes all you need to keep your system running smoothly and they know what they are doing. Our twelve year old home with Ream system was a problem since day one, brand new. After years of servicing, replacing endless parts, etc, R and S found that the initial install was wrong. Once fixed our twelve year old unit was working like brand new! Over twelve technicians from other companies over the years charged us over and over to fix it, never noticing the issue. We cannot be more grateful and can recommend them without reservation. Tired of being taken advantage of? Call them they are knowledgeable, professional and have integrity. A special shout out to our senior technician Tracey who found the issue, thank you!

Would NOT recommend this place to anyone. My "broken" AC ended up being a matter of a simple breaker needing to be switched back on. I was fine paying the $119 weekend service fee, but little did I know I was also being charged $132 for the technician to flip the breaker switch back on. $132 TO FLIP A SWITCH that I was not informed of before he made the "repair," and obviously something I could have done myself (I was at the breaker box with him when he discovered that was the problem). Again, it seems perfectly fair to pay the dispatch fee for his expertise and time, but it seems like highway robbery to charge $132 to flip a switch. Any honest company that values customer relations would've at least explained a charge before it is incurred.

I'm VERY impressed with R & S Mechanical, the technician Tracey did such an excellent job! He was honest, extremely polite to me and really did find the root of the problem. I will use them again for sure! If you want GREAT service, nice/kind people & don't want to spend a fortune on repairs, then you need to call them! Scheduling online is easy too if you aren't able to call right away. They will take such good care of you!

I had a great experience with the technician who came to fix my AC. Jordy was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He took the time to show me the issue with my AC, answer all my questions, and even gave me a lesson in air filters. My unit was fixed in no time and the AC has been running smoothly since then. I was also happy that R & S was able to send someone out on the same day I called. Many other companies I reached out to did not have same day availability. I would definitely recommend this company.

Actually unsure what we plan to do. Their representative came today to assess our ductwork situation. Seemed Very knowledgeable and honest and trustworthy. Expect pricing is very fair.
