I called RS Mechanical for service about 2pm, found out they merged with 6&Fix. They had a tech out by 630, who ran a diagnostic on my AC and discovered the issue and was able to find out my unit was still under warranty from RSM. Carter was friendly and very informative each step of the way đź‘Ť

Closing in on two weeks since initial call and still waiting on 6&F to get their hands on the part needed. Not fixed yet

They installed our new HVAC system and the work was done very well and quickly. They actually charged several thousand dollars less than the other companies we called. They have a 10 year warranty on their systems and we have them on a service contract to maintain our system every Spring and Fall. We are very pleased with this company and highly recommend them.

Shedrick has been very informative and done a great job with our HVAC maintenance plan we have with them. He has looked into any concerns we have had and offered solutions. He went above and beyond with some education on changing out our thermostats at our most recent visit. They always give good notice as well when their technicians are on the way.

I called on a Saturday and Jason was able to come out same day. The issue needed a part that had to be ordered, but he was able to make the AC work while we waited for the part. He returned a few days later, but the unit ended up needing another part after the first issue was fixed. He got that part and returned same day (very quickly). Everything is working well! The service was quick and Jason was clear with his explanations. Would highly recommend!

I woke up and my upstairs thermostat wasn't working, I did all I could to troubleshoot before taking the advice of a neighbor and calling R&S. Glad I did as we were almost about to purchase a $500 motor and DIY a fix that WOULD NOT have fixed the problem.
Scheduling was easy, Angela was great to work with, clear in communication, and permitted follow-up of notes via email to ensure nothing was missed.
Tim made a great early morning shift that had my HVAC done before 9AM, which really makes an impact as my wife and I both WFH and had 9AM meetings. Tim was also quick to troubleshoot the problem, friendly, and explained the float switch problem without belittling me like some techs can.
In the past I was hesitant to sign up for the 1 year service contracts because I found that getting a company to deliver on those was difficult, not so here. Tim convinced me to give them a try and Angela was very quick to call and get two appointments on the calendar.
Normally HVAC companies get a bad name, R&S certainly breaks that pattern and offered a solid experience, in a timely manner, at a fair price.

WOW! Customer service is alive + well at R & S Mechanical. I am so thankful for their clear communication, efficiency, excellent work, regular maintenance, and follow up. We have 2 ductless systems and 1 traditional duct system R & S has serviced for repairs, improvements, cleaned, maintenanced, and performed complex installation of new ductless unit. All employees have been professional, thorough, and not pushy for sales at all. Thanks R & S!

Years ago when I started with R&S for maintenance I was satisfied. I purchased two new units 3 years ago but have had many issues. When attempting to renew my maintenance agreement, the new guy, who I assume is with 6 & Fix, wouldn’t honor the two unit agreement I’ve had in place since the beginning. At my request, he said he would check with a manager and promised a call back the following day. It’s been two weeks, no return call. I’ve contacted York directly and have taken my business elsewhere.

I have an older home and the HVAC system needs a lot of TLC. I have r&s mechanical come twice a year for preventative maintenance. They are always professional and courteous and knowledgeable. They don't just tell me what's wrong, but show me or take pictures for places I can't see. I trust them to keep us both safe and comfortable.

I had an excellent experience with R and S mechanical. As a realtor I’m constantly hiring HVAC guys and I definitely found “the one” with R&S! They were flexible with timing which is huge in this market and communicated very well! They let me know when it was confirmed and gave me a heads up on the way. The inspector even waited a few mins for me to get to the house and was patient and friendly. Once he was finished he called me on his way home to give me a summary which was really helpful for me! Victor was extremely professional, knowledgeable and thorough. I’ll be using R&S mechanical for all my heating and cooling needs and I highly recommend you do the same!!

I may have reviewed RS Mechanical previously and will happily do it again. RS Mechanical consistently exceeds my expectations. My first experience was with technician Hurley and I've requested him ever since as he is thorough, professional, and courteous. I'm removing a star as they've recently changed their policy and are no longer allowing to schedule with the technician that we've requested and had service our units for multiple years now.

I’m becoming increasingly disappointed with RS Mechanical. The previous maintenance has left my upstairs unit running less efficiently than before. My thermostat could be faulty, but timing is suspicious. One of the technicians forgot to turn on the power leading to the condenser units and didn’t realize until my house was almost 80 degrees. The technician tried to say the circuit tripped. I’m considering not renewing my maintenance with them and finding another company.
