6 & Fix HVAC & Refrigeration - Garner

RS Mechanical contacted me for my service appointment and were very accommodating. They called before arriving to confirm I was home. Tracey was polite, thorough, friendly and professional. He even put my ladder back without having to be asked. There was 1 component that was not performing to standards and he explained its use and options for replacing now or when it fails.
I would recommend this company to anyone wanting quality service.

We have used this company for years and always have a great experience. Today Shed came and did our maintenance work. Very professional and even showed me pictures of everything. Very please with heir work and especially the technician!

R+S mechanical came out on an emergency visit after hours as my cat was trapped in the duct work under my house. They had to rip out the old duct work and my cat was returned to me safe and sound. They quickly installed new duct work and were helpful and polite. If they would not have assisted and been so careful due to the missing cat, it may not have had a happy ending and I am very thankful.

Hurley and the staff at R&S Mexhanical are prompt, professional and courteous. He takes time to answer questions and ensures all systems are up and running properly.

I’d definitely recommend this company and will continue with our maintenance agreement in years to come.

As much as I wish I never had to call them, I know the R&S guys on a first name basis! They are always so professional, honest and hard-working. I'm so thankful that I have a maintenance contract with them, because it always makes the sticker shock from repairs a little more palatable!

Honesty, integrity, reliability - that describes the experience with the R&S team. My AC was going but not gone, I had time to shop around. R&S provide a DETAILED bid, others had to explain "it was in there". The comfort of knowing what I was paying for made a difference to me. In the end, R&S was the best deal, I was treated fairly and the area they worked in was clean when they left. I HIGHLY recommend R&S Mechanical, they are just unbeatable.

EDIT: I moved into a new home in December of 2020 and wouldn’t you know it…another old HVAC unit. Guess who I called? R & S of course! They once again installed a new system for me and again, too notch service! They work so efficiently and leave your place clean! I have a service contract for my unit and just had my first maintenance visit. I also asked if the technician could check my ductwork because I didn’t feel any air coming from the vents in the master bedroom. He had no problem climbing up in my attic (attic installed unit), and turns out some dampers were 50-75% CLOSED. Probably been that way since I purchased the house. Now, a few hours since he left and wow 🤩 what a difference!! I feel the Angel’s Breath and my room is cooler. I will be sleeping great tonight!! THANK YOU TIMOTHY!! You saved the rest of Summer for me!! Seriously…this is the BEST HVAC company ever!

R & S Mechanical was simply the best when it came time to replace our 17 year old A/C system that had died unexpectedly. I gave them a call on a Friday morning because I woke up to no air. I expected to basically get laughed at given it is the middle of summer and I was sure they were super busy. The woman who answered named Sharon, was the sweetest and most polite person. She absolutely did NOT laugh at me and was taking all my information to try and find someone to help me. She was still taking my information when someone in her office said they would come right out. What luck! So, Tracey Brisson came out within half an hour. He looked over everything and even went under the house. Yep! It was dead! So he wrote up a quote for us for a new one. It had three choices. All the choices were dependent on the SEER number. We made our choice based on our home size and it was the middle of the road.

The next available install date was the following Wednesday. Whew! I was prepared to have to deal but I knew it would be tough. Thanks again to Tracey because he brought us a loaner movable A/C that made the wait tolerable. Wednesday morning came and the crew arrived on time and let us know they were ready to work and that later they would need inside for replacement of the thermostat. It was a hot, hot, hot day! Those guys worked their bums off! Even still, they were very friendly and able to be in good moods and even laugh at my sorry jokes.

At the end of the day they installed a beautiful (for an A/C unit) unit. There wasn’t a single piece of old debris or trash to be seen. I keep looking at it almost like I do a new car haha. It works fantastically and cooled the house back to where I like it. Tracey came back out a day or so after to pick up the temporary cooler and to verify everything went as it was supposed to. Just really too notch service from beginning to end of installation. I am set up on a service plan AND...they are even servicing my other unit that wasn’t installed by them. I promise you won’t go wrong or be disappointed by choosing R & S Mechanical. A great family company!

The people at R & S are the very best. I've been a customer for years and they are knowledgeable, professional and very friendly. Have had three uses for these guys and they are great! Tracy and Matt were thorough, professional, and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. 1st inspection Tracy noted my intake duct was under sized...Replaced it, electric bill went down and average of $50/mo in the peak cooling months...Customer for life!
