Friendly, fair, and reliable. Sheer installed the HVAC systems for our small commercial space nearly 3 years ago. Their service was performed as promised, ahead of schedule, and exceeded our expectations. They have continued to provide maintenance and warranty service for us, and continue to be professional, friendly, clean, punctual, and fairly priced.

Sheer Comfort installed a replacement compressor in September 2017 & it has already failed 1 1/2 yrs. When I called to express my concerns, the lady who answered was impatient & uncooperative. She told me the compressor was out of warranty. I told her clearly that the installer had said that the unit was under warranty and she clearly responded that it was not under warranty. I asked her this 3 different ways and she replied it was only for 1 year. Upon my insistence that she check with the manufacturer, she did and called me back to say that it was indeed under warranty. Then she changed her story to cover herself by saying that the labor is was out of warranty. I told her that I was really concerned that the unit failed so quickly as each time you put in a new unit, you are talking about $2000 to $3000 expenditure and that I would really like to speak with the installer who was an extremely kind individual and very knowledgeable. She said he was too busy to talk to me. She deliberately was pushing out the appointment to where it was unreachable and recommended I go somewhere else. I was told by a tech from a different company that the cause could be in other parts that could be corrupting the air compressor..so I wanted to ask the original installer about this and if this was so, would they take responsibility for this? But the woman who answers the phone had no compassion, no concern and was extremely rude...she hung up on me...and would not answer my call to clarify a return call from the installer or confirm the appointment. I am extremely disappointed in their customer service. it is easy to be courteous when getting business but the ultimate test is when you encounter a challenging situation, can Sheer Comfort be courteous, patient & work thru the issues to customer satisfaction. The lady handling these issues does not meet the standards that Sheer Comfort has set for themselves.

The team of Sheer Comfort exceeded most every expectation as they installed a brand new dual system, Heat Pump and Propane Furnace, for us in Weaverville. Their pricing was a clear value and thousands less than some other bids. The system will save us money, especially the 17 Seer heat pump, in terms of efficiency. Follow up calls with minor questions have been answered crisply. Highly recommend!

Great experience with Sheer Comfort yesterday! Frank and Travis were on it...our A/C went out on Wednesday night, called them first thing Thursday morning and they had it back up and running by 1:30! Great, fast service, would definitely recommend them!
