On the whole, the experience with JB's was unsatisfactory and I would not engage them as long as a someone more responsive and reasonably priced can be found. Although I had decided not to leave a negative review, because they ignored my calls and emails to return and make a lasting repair I wanted others to know. About 1.5 months ago, they worked on my less than 3 year old furnace for 2.5 hours and billed $445. I thought this was unreasonably high ( a part was covered by warranty) but paid promptly without complaint. Then the furnace stopped working again in December and the company didn't respond to multiple calls and emails. Bottom line, I paid JB's $445 for a repair that lasted about 45 days.
Had them install a A/C system for my house and they put in a 3 ton condenser and a 2 ton air handler which is undersized. It would run for 17 hours a day. I called and asked them to correct the undersized unit and they told me to buy a mini split to make up the difference , get better sealed doors and windows ( which are new ) and keep my doors closed. If I had people over or used my oven it would never shut off . Stay away from them.
We were told they we be by our house at 1pm. We were then told between 3-3:30. I called at 4pm after hearing nothing and they said they would be here as soon as they were finished with their project. At 5:30 I called and got no answer. Left a message and now it’s 8pm and still haven’t heard from them
This company is awesome! They're there to help and not just in it for money. Johnny is an amazing tech, so kind. Candance is an amazing person and I always enjoy talking to her! Call them they won't do you wrong!
Called Friday at noon was told someone would be out that afternoon, if that changed would let me know. I got off work early to meet the guy & no one was there. I called & receptionist said they were stuck in traffic. I asked her if she would call them to get an estimated arrival time & call me back & she said she would. Never heard from her & no tech showed up. If they start out this flaky how can you trust them. WOULD NOT USE!
I am so impressed with everyone I have met at this company! Everyone is so friendly and responsive. They definitely go the extra mile to help their customers. I'm a local real estate agent and they came through for my buyer and gave us honest advice quickly. They will definitely be my go to heating and air company from now on!
I had a new HVAC system installed and I could not be happier! I interviewed 6 different companies and JB's by far had the best option for me. The employees were so nice and respectful. They showed up when they said they would and also kept their work space clean. I recommend them 200%! They are always available by telephone for guidance with simple issues and regularly will stop in to check on the equipment if there is any question involved.

JB's is a small family owned company with a wide variety of services to accommodate your heating and cooling needs. Their employees can work on antiquated heating systems as well as state of the art new appliances and gas piping. I hired them when a prior sub contractor messed up an install on a mini split system. They were willing to jump in and address a problem they did not create. After that they became my go to heating and cooling company because not only did they come to my rescue but they were one of the only companies who could also help me with my old gas powered forced hot water system as well as a gas piping install. They are very responsive when an emergency arises and mange their schedule well and will show up when they say they will. Best of all, they are a great value and and guarantee their work!
I was sorely disappointed in everything about JB's (except the friendly receptionist). I called them to service a rental property and when the technician went out, he called to tell me that he couldn't fix the problem because there was no power running to my outdoor unit and that I needed to call an electrician before he could do anything more. I called an electrician who went to the house and saw that the breaker in the electrical panel had been tripped so he reset it and the unit started cooling.
I then received a bill from JB's for $180 stating that they changed a capacitor and air filter and charged me for 1.5 hrs of labor, and a $15 trip fee - none of which was told to me when the electrician was there. When I called to dispute the bill, I spoke with JB himself who raised his voice and cursed me out for challenging the charges.
This is not service... take your business elsewhere and save yourself the headache. Everything about this experience was worthless; especially their customer service.
