Sheer Comfort Heating & Air Conditioning

I am not a naturally born Ashevillain and, it takes patience to hire workers here in Appalachia. I called HVAC guys that were all horribly backed up and wouldn't be able to make an onsite visit for two weeks and wouldn't get started for at least another week. Travis Shearer was happily interested and came the next afternoon. Relieved, I signed Sheer Comfort's lower than expected estimate. He (Travis) told me the least expensive way to achieve our goals. Sheer comfort was half the price of other contractors who visited the site. He didn't create and elaborate the project due to his own ignorance or greed. Sheer Comfort is one company that has gained my confidence. I would approve their work blindfolded. If you need any HVAC work. These are the guys. Frank (owner), Travis (lead estimator), Brenda (all-around problem fixer). I want to clone them each.

Sheer Comfort did a superb job installing my heat pump years ago so I did not hesitate to recommend them to my family. Travis went out and made the repairs we needed. He worked quickly and expertly to diagnose the problem and fix the unit. He was very professional and worked diligently to get the job done with as little expense as possible.

It was truly a pleasure working with Travis and the entire crew at Sheer Comfort. If you need a new heating and air conditioning system or repairs on your current one, this is the company to call.

TC came to do a repair. He was prompt and courteous, explained what he would do and performed the work efficiently.

Our furnace broke down at the beginning of January. I called Sheer Comfort and they were able to send a technician out quickly. Given the problem and age of our furnace, we decided to replace it. The company was booking new installations into March, but they were able to get us in with a new furnace in January. Everyone was very helpful and answered all questions. I would highly recommend Sheer Comfort!

I cannot recommend Sheer Comfort Heating & AC strongly/highly enough! They are the best! They took care of my emergency when I called late in the day, and was quoted an emergency rate. The tech(Travis) worked me into his busy schedule and saved me from paying the after hour rate. Travis went way above the call of duty!!! Travis did my first maintenance (of a semi-annual contract) today, and they will do all my heating & AC needs (maintenance, total replacement, etc..) from now on! Travis is professional, personable, and knows his stuff! If I could give them six stars, it would be deserved!

Sheer Comfort was a delight to work with. Travis is honest and forthright and their bid was the best of all I received through this process. I will be coming back for my other systems when it is time to replace them and I will be recommending Sheer Comfort to anyone needing HVAC work.

Sheer Comfort has always been very prompt with addressing my AC issues. We moved into an old house with two new units that have periodically malfunctioned here and there. Carl has been out twice that I know of to look at two issues and has been super helpful. The dispatching staff also helped me troubleshoot a recent issue over the phone. Quality service all around.

Everybody was Professional, On time and very courteous. They delivered a high quality unit at a good price. They ARE my go to if I ever have any problems from this day forward. Thanks Travis!

Our initial estimation contacts - Clint THEN Frank were amazing. Timely, professional, took time to walk me through things, answered all of my questions and concerns thoroughly and gave me options. Frank came back with Tyler to do a load estimation to ensure we had the right size unit for our home. Ryan and Rob were our installation crew (along w Clint) and were also very courteous, informative, professional and polite. I also love how every member of the team was so thorough in cleaning up after themselves as well as courteous in taking shoes off when in the house. Brenda from the office was prompt in keeping me informed and very polite every time I called with questions. I love LOVE how they also gave us options for our install so it didn't feel like they were just trying to push the most expensive option on us. I could NOT have had a better experience and would highly recommend using this company for your HVAC needs in the future. What a great experience. I needed to replace my HVAC system (itself a horrifyingly expensive prospect) and the folks at Sheer Comfort were phenomenal. They weren't pushy (even though they knew I had to get another system because mine ate itself), they just gave me their estimate and assured me that should I choose them to do the work they would be out within days. I choose them, they were installing the new system immediately. The workmen, the office staff, all were wonderful. I wouldn't go to anyone else.
