    Yost & Campbell has been servicing my Hvac for 20 years. They are always prompt, attentive and thorough. When I have needed major repairs, such as a new AC condenser a few years ago, I checked prices with two other companies just for comparison, and Tom, the owner personally gave me the most competitive quote from the start, didn't play games. One technician in particular, Dave, was able to diagnose a difficult situation recently when my dampers were not working properly. I can't recommend Dave highly enough. He worked late at my home, did Internet research overnight, and came back the next morning to tackle and solve the problem.
    Updating this from 2021 to now in 2023, and still very satisfied with service and quality of staff. I've recently had Michael come to my house for service and he could not be more thorough, polite, and comprehensive in his approach to dealing with our water heater issue.

    Office unresponsive about when massive ductless minisplit installation will get the wifi system to control it. They say they will call to update on the status, but it's 6 months late. I never heard back. Keep saying it's coming next month, but nothing happens. Didn't complete town building permit process when they said they would. Every single worker who came to the house was fantastic, flexible, friendly. Every time I've dealt with the office, it's been difficult.

    New review on May 30- came and spent a lot of time with my wife and me about what hour HVAC system needed. He explained what the problems were and what we would need to buy to replace them and fix them. It became very expensive but Chris explained the need to do it and he was pleasant and sincere and explained everything clearly to us so we felt comfortable going forward with this big job. He is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Marty

    Older review from a few years ago.--On a day with the temperatures in the mid-90s my AC stopped working. Blowing air but no cold air. Called Y&C and was told they would be there by 6 PM. I didnt have high hopes on such an intensely hot day. The fellow did arrive at 6:15 after I got an email that he was coming. Attached to the email was his picture for ID (a very nice touch). He was polite, efficient, diagnosed the problem right away as a capacitor ($300 plus tax). But at least it was fixable and he had the part on his truck. He did some other chores making sure the compressor unit was in good working order and both zones worked and left when he knew it was working and cooling properly. By 7 PM fixed and working and cooling the house! Yes! I have been a Y&C customer for over 30 yrs. They handle all my heating and AC needs. Marty Gottlieb

    New review for May 24, 2023. Just had two days of work done on all the systems I described above. Alfonso was polite informative clean and kept me up to date about what they were doing and what was coming next and about when they would be done for the day since it was a two-day job with two men. When everything was finished this evening Alfonso showed me how to work and how to monitor all the new systems that were installed. It was a huge very expensive job to replace a furnace and air conditioner and the water heater and a humidifier. I know that the work was done well because we have been with Yost and Campbell for more than 35 years. Very pleased to have a totally new system in my house. Marty Gottlieb

    Just finished a complete replacement of our ancient boiler and water heater with the latest technology. Y & C did a great job from start to finish. Very knowledgeable and professional- the job was done right. Highly recommended.

    Today, for the third time in as many years, I had to stop a Yost and Campbell technician from leaving my house with a heating system that was not operational. He supposedly was here for our system's annual maintenance, but neglected to check whether or not the radiators had actually been receiving hot water. The boiler turned on, but no water was flowing. This is pretty typical of my Yost and Campbell experiences.

    DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY INSTALL A NAVIAN SYSTEM IN YOUR HOME

    Navian systems are probably just fine, but the technicians at Y&C DO NOT know how to use them. They bumbled and stumbled their way through the installation process. A three day job took nearly four weeks. Also, none of the pipes were installed where we had requested them further complicating other work that needed done in the boiler room. Now they bumble their way through the annual maintenance. Two years in a row the technicians have arrived and instead of maintaining the system, disabled it, requiring a second technician to show up.

    Before having them replace our old boiler, their service visits left a lot to be desired, but at least they understood the boiler. So, if you have an old boiler and you don't mind closely supervising their work, go ahead and hire Yost and Campbell. Otherwise, maybe look elsewhere.

    We have dealt with Yost and Campbell for better than 20 years, since we purchase our house. In this instance, we decided to replace and update our heating and air conditioner system that was almost 20 years old and no longer working effectively. Y&C's staff, from sales representative, deliverers, installers and office staff were courteous, professional and responsive to our needs. They went over the installation and explained everything. We are confident that we are set with a solid product.

    The tech was excellent, but the office staff lied to me repeatedly about when he would arrive.
