    Starting with Vince, who sold the job, it was a pleasant experience. He explained the system I needed, how it would be installed, and answered any questions I had. We set it up for the following week.
    I received a call when they would be here and they arrived promptly. The two young gentlemen got right to work and had the old boiler in short time. The installation went well and they answered every question I had. Although basically the same steam system, it had some things that differed from my 32 year old boiler. They walked me through the different parts so I could understand what was what. All in all, a great experience with Grasshopper H&C.

    We decided to use someone else that diagnosed our air conditioning system and was able to fix our problem. Although Alex was awesome and help us through everything we just couldn't at the time afford the equipment needed.

    I added Grasshopper to my phone contacts! Grasshopper was the the first business to pick up my call, even thought it early Sunday morning. On top of that, they had a technician over in just a couple hours. Our technician, Christian, was early, prepared, knowledgeable, and very personable. He walked us through every step of the way and seemed excited to do it. Our furnace was up and running in less than 30 minutes. I recommend Grasshopper for all your HVAC repairs!

    We had a great experience using GrassHopper for HVAC system maintenance. The person I spoke to on the phone to make the appointment was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable, and I instantly felt comfortable with this company. Our technician Christian came today and he was also extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and made us feel at ease. He diagnosed issues with our system and educated us on it without trying to sell us anything. We were so pleased with the service that we received that we instantly signed up for the 2-year membership. Looking forward to using Grasshopper in the future, and would definitely recommend them to everyone!

    On April 15, 2022, I had my boiler replaced by Grasshopper. I was aware that my old boiler was getting up there in age and had a very limited time left. Alex came on a Saturday two weeks ago and diagnosed the issue. It could be fixed for a substantial amount of money(due to the part cost which was well over $1000). He was incredibly professional and personable. He did an excellent job of diagnosis and showed me issues the would inevitably be the end of my boiler in short order. Long story short, I needed a new unit. He couldn’t have been nicer delivering the sad news.
    Upon my recovering from sticker shock for a new unit, he and someone who works on the office side helped me with pricing and partial financing on a Saturday. The woman who I spoke to in the office couldn’t have been nicer.
    Today was my installation date and Aaron and Dylon came and spent well over 9 hours here with another technician Kevin, whom arrived shortly after. All three were great! They did superb work. Very clean. All three of them couldn’t have been nicer or more professional. They were here all day working. Only a very short break to stuff some food in their bellies for a quick lunch which I believe they did in shifts to expedite the installation.
    I will use Grasshopper again for sure. Prices are what they are right now. They did everything they could to work with me and do a quality job. These guys really like the company they work for and it shows. I can’t express enough how nice everyone I dealt with was.

    I struggled a lot with this review because I was really debating giving 3-4 stars but what set this business apart was the customer service. My gas boiler stopped working so Alex came by on a weekend to help us out. He walked me through the whole system and let me know what the issues were. I was told either to replace or wait possibly months for the necessary parts. I was also told that a new install would be cheaper than repairing. The shock I felt when seeing the price tag was anxiety inducing. This was the weekend before we were about to encounter -12 degree weather and I have 3 toddlers. I felt like I really had no choice. It was especially worrying that I couldn’t receive an itemized quote so I can figure out why the price was so high.

    When installation day came, the team arrived right on time, got right to work and installed the system beautifully. It looks really good and the new piping makes me feel good to know everything should be stable for years to come. Not to mention the potential added value to my home estimate. It was a fast installation but there was an issue with my Google Nest thermostat. Luckily I caught it before they left. It took hours to figure out why it wasn’t receiving power. Almost as much time as the full installation itself. When we finally got it working, we thought everything was good to go. Until we noticed our heat was off again, in the middle of the night. We had another tech, Matt, come out the next day and take a look. Of course to our luck, it was operating at the time so it was harder to figure out. He switched over a wire in the thermostat and said we should be good to go. We were not. Once again another night with no heat. The night it was -12 degrees that I was worried about to begin with. Luckily we had a fire place to keep us warm. Next day we had Kevin come out and take a look. He made the correct decision to replace the wiring between the thermostat and the boiler. It was unfortunate that we had to cut into the wall to install but all I cared about was having an operational system after 3 days. Kevin is a huge reason why I’m submitting a 5 star review. His expertise solved the problem. He was super nice (everyone I encountered from the company was also super nice as well as patient) to my family and even brought my kids some treats and a Grasshopper coloring book my daughter loved. So thank you Kevin for your professionalism and getting the job done.

    Thank you to the installation team for staying out in the cold to get it installed. I may never know if I overpaid or not but, at the end of the day I signed the dotted line and made the choice I felt was right for my family. No one else has any reviews about getting ripped off so I’m sure I got a fair price. It was just a hard purchase for someone with 3 kids and financial issues.

    If you need help, especially on weekends, I’m sure Grasshopper will support your needs.

    Christian was here today and I am thoroughly impressed with his knowledge, his professionalism, and his very pleasant approach. I am a new homeowner and he took the time to explain and educate me. I highly recommend Grasshopper and would request Christian come back in the future. Grasshopper is lucky to have him!

    On January 9th Nick Patrizio came to my house to repair my new furnace. He did a very thorough job brushed and vacuumed all the soot out of the boiler block and base. He inserted soot stick to eliminate any additional soot out of the boiler. Adjusted air damper and draft damper. He installed a carbon monoxide detector by the furnace which was nice of him being I didn't have one. Nick was wonderful. He takes great pride in is work. He made sure everything was working before he left. Thank You Nick!!!
