We received bids from seven contractors for an 8-unit split ductless / 2-condenser system in a brownstone. Iceberg provided by far the most sophisticated and thorough proposal by addressing special conditions such as some units being far from the roof condensers. Our advisor was Pete Milcznski who has a wealth of experience and good judgment. They installed the system in a week and were particularly careful in cleaning up at the end of each day. Because they were a Mitsubishi Diamond distributor, they were able to provide a longer warranty than others who were not. Their bid was in the high range of the ones we received, but was worth it for their professionalism and Mitsubishi equipment with ample capacity for our needs. We were so satisfied, we decided to install a 2-unit / 1-condenser system for our garden rental unit.

Iceberg Mechanical replaced our 13 year old HVAC system in our Manhattan loft and we couldn't be more pleased with their work. Not only were they quick, efficient, and clean, but their customer service was excellent. The owner, Paul, and his team always addressed our concerns in a timely and courteous manner. They were also the only company out of the many we interviewed that had the technical expertise to do the work properly.

The team (Nelson, Kendry, Rafael and Joaquin) was very nice and efficient. Paul made sure I understood how to work the A.C. and answered any questions I had. Linda is friendly and easy to contact. The installation was very thorough. I love my AC! It’s silent and cools down both upstairs and downstairs in just minutes!

We used iceberg to install a new mini split as the last one we had was installed improperly. This caused major mold problems after several years. This company was top of the line. The installers got the job done quickly and efficiently. The owner, Paul even showed up at the job to help set up.
These guys know what they were doing. We were very pleased. Their quote was higher than others, but their assessment of how they would tackle the problem impressed me much more than the other companies. They seemed to be determined to install it correctly.

Fantastic experience all around. On time and completed our AC installation in a single day and without any issues. Meticulous crew that cleaned up after themselves and left our apartment spotless. They even included a smart home integration module with our new Mitsubishi AC unit - a nice surprise!

First rate work and service from beginning to end. Installed Mitsubishi heat pump on roof and three air handling units, with all related electrical and piping work, patching and painting, in our ancient brownstone. Workers were all informed, proficient, polite and very neat. We are very pleased with the company's advice and work. This is the second project that Iceberg has done for us. The work the first time was excellent, so we called them again. And, again, we were very pleased.

I have used Iceberg twice now to replace AC systems at both my bars/restaurants in Manhattan.
The first replacement was a retrofit in a commercial landmark space. Paul and his crew are truly professionals. They handled a very difficult job with no problem. I was so impressed, I hired them to replace a 50 year old system at my other bar just last month.
Again, they exceeded my expectations!!!

Pete and his crew installed a 3 unit Mitsubishi mini split system in our apartment and did a fantastic job. They were meticulous - working quickly while still being protective of the apartment and cleaning up. They even registered our warranty and setup the iPhone app for controlling them when they were finished.

We were lucky to have used iceberg mechanical to put in a ductless unit. The professional work that was done was second to none. Very very clean work inside and out. I would use them again and recommend them as often as possible. The workers were polite and knowledgeable. The owner paul came out to the job himself and got us the right unit at a great price. Very professional operation.

Iceberg saved us from a costly move and we love our apartment again! My wife and I had been wanting to replace the in-wall ptac units in our 2nd floor apartment for a few years. They were loud, dirty, and inefficient. We love the apt otherwise and hated the idea of having to leave and pay a premium for a new condo with central air. The problem was we both work from home and the thought of having work going in the apartment for many weeks was overwhelming.
I happened to do a search one day and was lucky enough to find Iceberg Mechanical and decided to call to see what they thought of the job. Paul, the President, came out personally and immediately knew what was needed. He gave me confidence that they could do it, very knowledgeable, and he designed the ductless heating and cooling system in a way that no one else had proposed. We were able to keep our front balcony clear, as his team has the expertise to mount it on the back of our building out of site, which everyone else we spoke to did not want to undertake.
As for Paul and his team, they are second to none. They do a flawless turnkey job from start to finish, including patching and painting (looks better than new). The install team are great guys, professional, experienced, quiet, courteous, and CLEAN. I couldn't believe how quiet they were, all while doing an A+ job. They cleaned up after themselves daily, and even wore those little shoe covers. Really amazing and a breathe of fresh air compared to other contractors etc that have little respect for your home.
I could go on forever but I think you get the point. I would recommend the Iceberg Mechanical team up and down. I found out the hard way that in life you usually get what you pay for. With Iceberg, you get a fair price (not cheap) for amazing quality work that they perform. In less than 2 weeks my apartment was back to normal!
