Ice Age Mechanical

Second time I have used Ice Age to install Mitsubishi mini splits in Brooklyn brownstone. Both times everything was handled professionally and Nicolas and the installers were a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend Ice Age for quality, responsiveness and price.

Ice Age did a phenomenal job installing my ductless AC in a Brownstown except for one small problem, they forgot to install a filter. I paid for the regular maintenance contract and that is when they identified the problem. I worked for over a year to get them to replace a filter in one of the in-wall units. They told me over and over they would order the part. They sent technicians and every time they said I need a new filter but never came with the filter. I am so disappointed that now I have to find a new company to maintain my units.

Victor and his crew were professional, clean, and skilled. They installed AC in three floors of our brownstone while we were living at home. They managed this huge job skillfully, everything was organized and they cleaned up after themselves every day. On top of that, Victor got me the best price for the job and added on great features like wifi capability. Highly recommend.

The existing stellar reviews are what guided me to Ice Age Mechanical and I made the absolute right decision to choose them. Victor is exceptional as is the crew he manages. From start to finish, the process was seamless. It could not have been easier or more professional. I had a Mitsubishi unit installed on the outside of my apartment building on the third floor with three units inside. It was completed in two and a half days even with new lines being run and some cuts in the walls to accommodate a new interior location. Each night they left the work areas clean and organized as if nothing had been done. I have had lots of renovation work done over the years, but no one comes close to matching the level of expertise demonstrated by Victor and his team. They are the easiest, honest and most skilled individuals I have encountered. There were no surprises and no upcharges. I would award this experience 10 stars if that was an option. Ice Age came through on all fronts. My job required some ingenuity and problem solving. Victor was able to properly spec it out and deliver a good quote while still on site. He clearly went over different spec possibilities and how the installation would proceed. Like Victor, all the ice age folks I dealt with were friendly and clear.

For the installation, all the workmen showed up promptly on time. The job entailed running an electric line first, and as the job proceeded with the rest of the install, all holes were expertly patched. Towards the end, at the end of the last day actually, there was a little unforeseen difficulty in fit, but the workman powered through and the results were great.

Overall I'm very satisfied with the result, both in function and aesthetics. I'm happy I chose Ice Age, and will definitely be using them for service going forward.

Ice Age did a great job on a large install in our brownstone, putting in a mix of wall, ceiling and ducted Mitsubishi units. Very professional company -- install looks great (and lots of it is hidden). We contacted a few different companies before settling on them and are glad we did. Would highly recommend.

We used Ice Age for our Mitsubishi mini-split system after getting a few (much higher) quotes + looking at reviews. Very glad we worked with them, they are professional, honest, fast, reliable and pay attention to detail and care during installation. They also offered Mitsubishi's rebate, unlike the other local vendors we got quotes from.

Ice Age did a rather difficult AC installation for me as they had to comply to strict condominium board requirements (engineer and architect requirements). They also had to break extensive sections of my old plaster walls to allow pipes to go through. It was a big job and they did a great job. They were very thorough and professional and every day for 2 weeks they would leave my place very clean at the end of each day. Victor, the manager, really bent over backwards to satisfy my needs and requests and two of the guys working for him, Pochi and Rafael, were incredibly good workers and a pleasure to have around. Would highly recommend them.

I hired Ice Age after interviewing and getting quotes from many companies. Their customer service is incomparable to other companies...I got an email confirming my appointment for a quote with the person's image and bio, I got the quote emailed within minutes of him leaving (i had to beg other companies) and everything was so well organized. They have a dedicated person to always answer your calls and help. They are an ELITE dealer as well for split units Mitsubishi, so you get a longer warranty. Highly recommend this group!
